KC WR Mecole Hardman - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Denver Broncos

Mecole Hardman has seen a reduction in playing time over the past two games, averaging 26% of the offensive snaps compared to the 51% he was seeing in the first nine games of the season. If this keeps up, it'll be hard to trust Hardman as a reliable fantasy option, especially considering he's already on the fringe of relevance as it is. He's not a recommended fantasy play in Week 13.

KC WR Mecole Hardman - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Las Vegas Raiders

Mecole Hardman was placed on the Chiefs' reserve/COVID-19 list during the team's bye week. He remains on that list as of Wednesday. The Chiefs did not confirm whether Hardman tested positive, but a high-risk contact is required to spend only a minimum of five days on the list and Hardman has been on the list for longer than five days.

The Chiefs may also get Sammy Watkins back this week, which would damage Hardman's value. So there's a lot to monitor for Hardman in Week 11. If he is active and Watkins is inactive then Hardman should be viewed as a low-end WR3 play against the Raiders. He finished 2-50 on three targets when he played the Raiders earlier this year.

KC WR Mecole Hardman - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Carolina Panthers

Mecole Hardman had his best game of the year last week, setting season highs in targets (9), receptions (7), and yards (96) while scoring his third touchdown. While it's a nice game, it's also worth noting Hardman had four total receptions in his three previous games combined. Hardman is an enticing player given his speed, but he also carries risk. We like him as a WR3 this week in a tough matchup against the Panthers (No. 1 aFPA).

KC WR Mecole Hardman - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. New York Jets

Mecole Hardman finished 2-57 last week on two targets. He's now topped 50 yards in three of his last five games, but he also had a goose egg in that stretch. Hardman's speed allows him to get open every now and then, but he's not getting enough looks to be a reliable fantasy option. He's averaging 2.9 targets per game, and has only topped five targets once this season.

KC WR Mecole Hardman - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Denver Broncos

Mecole Hardman finished with a goose egg last week and only saw one target. He also played on just 40% of the offensive snaps, which is troubling considering the absence of Sammy Watkins. Hardman has the speed to break off a big play at any moment, but he'll be a risky WR4 in Week 7 against the Broncos.

KC WR Mecole Hardman - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Buffalo Bills

Sammy Watkins is dealing with a hamstring injury and may not play this week, which would boost Mecole Hardman. Hardman hasn't been the most productive player (averaging 38.8 yards per game), but he has scored in two of his last three outings. He also gets a favorable matchup against the Bills this week (No. 22 aFPA). With no Watkins, we like Hardman as a solid WR3 play in Week 6.

KC WR Mecole Hardman - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Mecole Hardman finished 4-27-1 last week, giving him back-to-back games with a touchdown. He played on 46% of the snaps, so Hardman still isn't a full-time starter, which limits his ceiling. While Hardman has scored in two straight games, he's also finished with 30 yards or less in three of his four games this season. He's a hit-or-miss WR4 play in Week 5 against the Raiders.
