Week 1 at Indianapolis
Matt Prater is coming off of a good season in which he totaled 102 points, making 22-of-24 field goal attempts. During his career, he has made 76 percent of his attempts from beyond 50 yards. The Lions should be able to move the ball on the road in the opener, making Prater a nice option.

In the win over the 49ers last Sunday, Matt Prater booted four short FGs (longest was from 38 yards) and totaled a season-high 14 points. Prater has been in double-figures four times this season, including Week 6 against the Bears when he had his second best game of the season, totaling 13 points.

Matt Prater’s perfect field goal season came to an end last Monday in the win over the Saints. Prater had been 17-for-17 before missing from 38 yards out in the closing seconds. The Lions offense has been much better during the past month and Prater should get some good scoring chances at home versus the 49ers.
