Scouting report

NO WR Marquez Callaway - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs Cowboys

Building off of last week's note, it's now six straight weeks with 32 yards or fewer for Marquez Callaway. And his three-game touchdown streak also came to an end on Thanksgiving. He did still see the second-most snaps among wide receivers, so he's out there on the field. He just isn't producing viable fantasy numbers. Perhaps Taysom Hill can change that?

NO WR Marquez Callaway - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Bills

That's five straight weeks with 32 or fewer yards for Marquez Callaway. However, it's also three straight games with a touchdown for Marquez Callaway. It just so happened to be Callaway's only catch against the Eagles. So while he's not getting the catches, Callaway is finding a way to score touchdowns. So if you're willing to take that chance against the Buffalo secondary on a short week, go for it. Especially if you happen to need to replace Tyreek Hill this week, for example.

NO WR Marquez Callaway - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs Eagles

He still isn't catching many passes, but Marquez Callaway does now have two straight games with a touchdown. He gets the Eagles this week, who have quietly improved on defense and Darius Slay has been on a tear of late. If you're in a deep league, Callaway is worth a look with his mini-touchdown streak.

NO WR Marquez Callaway - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs Titans

Marquez Callaway has been a bit disappointing this season after showing tons of flashes in the preseason. But somebody has to catch passes from whoever is playing QB for the Saints. And Callaway is still seeing plenty of time on the field and has at least five targets in four straight games. And fortunately, Callaway has the third-easiest matchup according to our matchup rankings. Maybe he'll catch more than three passes for a change.

NO WR Marquez Callaway - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs Falcons

Marquez Callaway now really will be the guy on the outside for the Saints with the news that Michael Thomas will not return this season due to his ankle injury. Now Callaway just needs to catch more than four passes in a game, something he has yet to do this season. The Falcons are okay against the pass, so perhaps that day comes Sunday. Callaway sits outside our top 40 WRs this week.

NO WR Marquez Callaway - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs Buccaneers

Marquez Callaway continues to be Jameis Winston's favorite receiver not named Alvin Kamara. Sure, he had just 32 yards last week, but neither offense did much in Seattle last week besides Kamara and DK Metcalf. Perhaps this week will be a bit better for Callaway as Tampa has been suspect at times against the pass. Well, except for last week but Chicago just stinks right now. Callaway also saw 90 percent of the snaps for the first time this season after two weeks crossing 80 percent. He's entrenched as the No. 1 receiver in New Orleans for now, giving him some fantasy value each week, despite the limitations of the offense as a whole.

NO wR Marquez Callaway - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Seahawks

Looks like Marquez Callaway is back in the good graces of fantasy football after his 4/85/2 line against Washington in Week 5. It will be interesting to see what happens when Tre'Quan Smith eventually returns to the lineup, but for now, Callaway looks to be back as Jameis Winston's top option and, against Seattle, gives him value this week in your flex position with all the byes out there. Seattle is struggling to stop anyone nowadays, so Callaway could make it three games out of four with a touchdown,
