LV WR Mack Hollins - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at New Orleans Saints

Mack Hollins found the end zone last week but was held to two catches and 44 yards on three targets. Hollins has had his moments this year, but he’s more valuable when Hunter Renfrow misses time than he is when the Raiders are fully healthy. Hollins will have some good games, but picking which games those are will be too difficult and inconsistent to make him truly fantasy viable. Keep him on the bench, and he’s droppable in standard sized leagues.

LV WR Mack Hollins - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Houston Texans

Mack Hollins was held catchless against the Chiefs before the bye last week. Even though he was targeted four times, it’s concerning to see his numbers decline with Hunter Renfrow back in the lineup. Against a middling Texans pass defense, sit Hollins until we see him emerge as more than the fourth option in the passing game again.

LV WR Mack Hollins - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Kansas City Chiefs

Mack Hollins was limited to just three catches and 33 yards in a victory over the Broncos last week. Hollins has been solid while filling in for Hunter Renfrow, but with Renfrow back at practice, fantasy managers should hold off on banking on him for another production day in most leagues. If Renfrow misses the outing, Hollins has some upside in deeper leagues against the Chiefs, who rank 21st in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. If possible, look elsewhere for someone higher in the target pecking order.

LV WR Mack Hollins - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Denver Broncos

After eight targets in Week 2, Mack Hollins exploded last week against the Titans, catching eight of 10 targets for 158 yards and a touchdown. Hollins is a big-bodied receiver who seems to have gained the trust of Derek Carr and should continue to see an increase in looks while Hunter Renfrow is out. Renfrow’s status is uncertain going into Week 4, but even if he plays in the slot, expect Hollins to have a role outside.

This week, Hollins faces a Broncos defense that ranks seventh in aFPA to opposing receivers. If Renfrow plays, Hollins becomes hard to start in a tough matchup, but if Renfrow is out again, Hollins could reach WR3 numbers. Denver has done a good job defensively, but Brandon Aiyuk found the end zone against them last week, and the defense will likely pay the most attention to Davante Adams.

MIA WR Mack Hollins - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Carolina Panthers

Mack Hollins hauled in a 65-yard touchdown last week, but that's about all he did. His only other catch in the game went for seven yards. Hollins has caught a touchdown in three of his last five games, but in the two games he didn't, he finished with zero yards. Hollins might score here and there, but he's not reliable enough to be trusted as a fantasy option, especially in a tough Week 12 matchup vs. the Panthers.

MIA WR Mack Hollins - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Baltimore Ravens

Mack Hollins has shown some promise in recent weeks when DeVante Parker is out. He had 61 yards in Week 6 and caught touchdowns in Week 7 and Week 9. However, if you take the touchdown away, you're left with very little production. Hollins did see a solid six targets last week, but 22 yards isn't enough to get excited over. Hollins would be a risky play in Week 10, especially against a tough Ravens defense.

MIA WR Mack Hollins - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Atlanta Falcons

Mack Hollins looked pretty good last week, finishing 4-61 on five targets. Although Hollins got a boost in targets and playing time mostly due to DeVante Parker being inactive. We're expecting Parker to return this week, and if that's the case then it's hard to see Hollins having a large enough role to make a big impact in fantasy.
