Scouting report

MIN TE Kyle Rudolph - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Green Bay Packers

Kyle Rudolph finished 3-48 on three targets last week. He's essentially a touchdown-or-bust tight end at this point, averaging just 25.7 yards per game this season with six scores. He faces a Packers defense that's allowed six touchdowns to tight ends in 2019. Rudolph finished with nine yards when he played Green Bay earlier in the year.

MIN TE Kyle Rudolph - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Los Angeles Chargers

After a nice stretch of games where Kyle Rudolph caught six touchdown passes in six games, he was held to just one catch for six yards last week. He played his lowest number of snaps on the season (64%) as he deals with a groin injury (he's been a full participant in practice). Rudolph is averaging just 24 yards per game, so he should best be viewed as a touchdown-or-bust option. He faces a Chargers defense this week that's allowed five touchdowns to tight ends in 2019.

MIN TE Kyle Rudolph - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Detroit Lions

Kyle Rudolph isn't going away as he delivered another solid performance, finishing 4-50-1 last week. He's now scored in five of his last six games while averaging five targets in that span. He gets a great matchup against the Lions this week, a team he went 5-58-1 against earlier in the year. With Adam Thielen expected to be sidelined again, Rudolph should continue to get looks like he has been getting in recent weeks. He should be viewed as a viable TE1 this week.

MIN TE Kyle Rudolph - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Seattle Seahawks

Kyle Rudolph has emerged out of nowhere lately as he finished 5-67-1 last week. He's now scored in four of his last five games, making him an appealing streaming option. But it's worth pointing out he's only averaging 22 yards per game. He's basically a touchdown-or-bust tight end, and he faces a Seahawks defense that's allowed five scores to the position this season.

MIN TE Kyle Rudolph - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Denver Broncos

Kyle Rudolph went 4-14-2 in an odd game last week. Rudolph has now caught four touchdowns in the last four weeks, but has only topped 25 yards in two games this season. Essentially, he's a touchdown-or-bust tight end. He'll face a Broncos defense this week that has allowed just one touchdown to the tight end position all season, meaning Rudolph will likely be a bust in Week 11.

MIN TE Kyle Rudolph - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Dallas Cowboys

Kyle Rudolph was actually productive last week, finishing 3-23-1. It still wasn't a great game as his production was mostly just due to his touchdown, his second of the season. This is still a player with three games below 10 receiving yards on the year. He's a touchdown-or-bust option this week against the Cowboys who have allowed three touchdowns to tight ends all season.

MIN TE Kyle Rudolph - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Washington Redskins

Kyle Rudolph had his first relevant game all season last week, finishing 5-58-1. It's the only game where he's topped 40 receiving yards all season. He's finished below 15 yards in five games this season so we don't recommend him, even though he may get more looks if Adam Thielen is sidelined.
