ARI RB Keaontay Ingram - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Cleveland Browns

Keaontay Ingram should get the start this week with Emari Demercado and James Conner both out. Still, the Browns are a really tough matchup and Ingram is a very risky option for fantasy managers. Consider him a boom-or-bust RB3 or flex option.

ARI RB Keaontay Ingram - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Seattle Seahawks

Keaontay Ingram led the Arizona running backs with 10 carries last week, but he was far from being a focal point for the offense. He ended up with 51 yards on 12 touches and saw just 37% of the team’s offensive snaps. It looks like it’s going to be a committee to replace James Conner.

This week, Ingram faces a Seattle defense that ranks 21st in aFPA to opposing running backs. Ingram is probably the best bet to lead the backfield in touches again, but they may just go with the hot hand. That limits his ceiling, making Ingram a low-end RB3 at best. Hopefully you have better options available.

ARI RB Keaontay Ingram - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Los Angeles Rams

Keaontay Ingram has been out the last couple of games, but he has some upside with James Conner now sidelined. He’ll be battling Emari Demercado, who played the bulk of the snaps last week after Conner was injured. Ingram is listed ahead of Demercado on the depth chart, but we’ll see how the carries shake out.

Ingram has a tough matchup this week against a Rams defense that ranks third in aFPA to opposing running backs. Roster either or both of these young backs, just in case one pops, but it’s hard to recommend trusting them in fantasy lineups this week. In a difficult matchup, with a questionable workload, keep Ingram on the bench.

ARI RB Keaontay Ingram - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Keaontay Ingram seems to have the backup job locked up with Eno Benjamin off the roster and Darrell Williams still hurt. However, that yielded only five carries last week against the 49ers, resulting in 19 yards. Ingram is an interesting stash option in deeper leagues, given James Conner’s injury history, but he’s not worth the roster space in most leagues while Conner is healthy.

ARI RB Keaontay Ingram - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. New Orleans Saints

Keaontay Ingram saw his first action of the season last week against the Seahawks, carrying the ball three times for seven yards. We didn’t learn much about Ingram’s talent as a pro, but we did learn that he’s next in line if Eno Benjamin – who is dealing with a foot injury – misses time. The Cardinals could be down to their fourth back, with James Conner and Darrell Williams also nicked up and fresh off missed games. Ingram is too risky to count on against a tough Saints defense, but he should be added in deeper league rosters, just in case he gets the opportunity and pops. For now, however, leave him on the bench.
