Scouting report

WAS K Kai Forbath - Week 4, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 - Forbath vs. NY Giants

Kai Forbath was 1-for-2 last week with four extra points. It was a big miss in the game at the time on what was a makable kick.

The announcers alluded to Forbath having a groin issue and he also didn't look good on an extra point attempt. However, he appears on track to play Thursday night but owners should check and make sure. He does get a friendly ranking this week going against the Giants who are 24th in allowing fantasy points to kickers. Forbath is becoming a decent option if the Redskins offense can keep moving the ball with ease. However, matchups are going to get harder for Skins in the upcoming weeks.

WAS K Kai Forbath - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 - Forbath vs. Philadelphia
Forbath kicked two field goals and booted five extra points last week in a blowout win over the Jags. This week, he's still ranked in the bottom half of our list going against the Eagles on the road. It's just an average matchup on paper and we think there are better options than Forbath.

WAS K Kai Forbath - Week 2, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. Jaguars
Kai Forbath had just one extra point last week. He comes in ranked as K2 option in what should be a good matchup against the Jags. With the Washington offense struggling, fantasy owners should probably go with a safer option than Forbath until the team shows they can move the ball more consistently.

WAS K Kai Forbath - Week 1, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs Texans
Kai Forbath emerged as the Washington kicker again this year but you'll have to go pretty far down our list to find him. He ranks just 21st this week even though the Texans do allow field goals, ranking 24th in allowing fantasy points to kickers. Given the struggles of Robert Griffin III and the Redskins offense coming into this contest, it's probably safest to go with another kicking option.
