Week 8 vs CHI
Gray was signed off the practice squad mere hours before the Patriots Week 7 game. It's promising that in his first game on the team, Gray played well ahead of long-time reserve back Brandon Bolden. While Gray played almost 20% of the snaps, over double Bolden's compliment, he only had three rushes. His 21 yards on such limited caries are yet another promising sign.
Gray makes for an intriguing add this week in leagues, but we're slow to trust him in lineups until he shows more on the field, in actual carries and yards. We have him as RB42 & RB49 in PPR. He's in the conversation as a desperation play, but should otherwise be on your benches in Week 7.
