DET RB Joique Bell - Week 15, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 – Joique Bell vs. Minnesota Vikings
Even though Reggie Bush returned last week versus Tampa Bay, Joique Bell led the Detroit rushing attack with 18 carries for 83 yards and a TD. He also caught five passes for 50 yards and a ricochet score. Joique has four touchdowns in the past two games after not finding the end zone in the previous five contests. In the Week 6 win at Minnesota, he totaled 97 yards and a TD. Even with Bush back in the lineup, look for the Lions to continue to utilize Bell as their top ball carrier, making him a RB2 play.

DET RB Joique Bell - Week 14, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 – Joique Bell vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Chicago defense had a hard time stopping Joique Bell on Thanksgiving, as he ran for 91 yards and two scores on 23 carries. He also caught two passes for 16 yards. Joique had all of the Lions rushing attempts versus the Bears, but with Reggie Bush expected back this week, look for the two RBs to share touches. Tampa Bay is 18th versus the run, however, so Joique could be in line for another solid performance, likely receiving the goal line attempts.

DET RB Joique Bell - Week 13, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 – Joique Bell vs. Chicago Bears
Despite Reggie Bush missing his second straight game last week at New England, Joique Bell was rather unproductive, rushing for just 48 yards on 19 carries. The Detroit offense struggled in the loss, but will try to right the ship at home on Thanksgiving. Bush will likely be out again, leaving Joique to lead the ground attack. Chicago allows 107 yards per game on the ground, making Bell an RB2/flex play.

DET RB Joique Bell - Week 12, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 – Joique Bell vs. New England Patriots
With Reggie Bush out of action last week in Arizona, Joique Bell led the Lions ground attack, finishing with 85 yards on 14 carries. He also pitched in with three receptions for 30 yards. Even if Bush is able to play through his ankle injury, expect Joique to again be the featured back. New England allows 110 yards per game on the ground, so Bell makes for a low-end RB2 or flex play this week.

Week 11 – Joique Bell vs. Arizona Cardinals
In the win over the Dolphins last Sunday, Joique Bell led the Lions ground attack with 10 carries for 44 yards. He also caught two passes for 37 yards. Detroit finished with only 63 rushing yards against a solid Miami D. Things won’t be any easier for Joique in Arizona, as the Cards allow just 78 yards per game on the ground. Look for Bell to have an average game.

DET RB Joique Bell - Week 10, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 – Joique Bell vs. Miami Dolphins
In the comeback win over the Falcons two weeks ago, Joique Bell received 14 of Detroit’s 23 rushing attempts in the absence of Reggie Bush. During the first half of the season, Joique leads the Lions ground attack with 98 carries for 313 yards, but is averaging only 3.2 yards per rush. Bush will be back on Sunday, so look for the two to split touches again. Miami's defense has been solid, but the Lions tend to play better on the turf at home.

DET RB Joique Bell - Week 8, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 – Joique Bell vs. Atlanta Falcons
With Reggie Bush still hobbled by a sore ankle last Sunday versus the Saints, Joique Bell took advantage of the extra playing time, running for 48 yards and a score and catching two passes for 19 yards. Joique had just a 2.7 yards per carry average in the win and is averaging only 3.3 yards per rush on the season, but has scored in two straight. Bush is doubtful to play in London on Sunday, making Bell a good fantasy option against an Atlanta team that is near the bottom at stopping the run.
