Scouting report

PIT TE Heath Miller - Week 19, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 19 at Denver
After catching 10 passes in each of the first two games against the Bengals, Miller got just three targets last week, catching two passes for nine yards. He had just three catches for 15 yards on five targets last month against Denver, spending more time helping out blocking against Denver's pass rush. That could be the plan this time around as well, though with Antonio Brown out, Miller should see more action.

PIT TE Heath Miller - Week 18, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 18 at Cincinnati
In two games against the Bengals this season, Miller has matched his career high with 10 receptions in each game. He failed to score in either game, but had 171 total yards working the short middle of the field as Cincinnati worked hard to take away the deep passing game. Miller should still get plenty of looks in this game.

PIT TE Heath Miller - Week 17, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Cleveland
Miller had five receptions for 49 yards last week but wasn't a major factor until late in the game when the Steelers were trying to come back. They don't figure to have to do that again this week and Miller had just four catches for 40 yards in the first meeting this season. There are better options available.

PIT TE Heath Miller - Week 16, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Baltimore
Miller spent a lot of time helping out with Denver's pass rush last week and caught just three passes for 12 yards. Baltimore's pass rush isn't what it once was but still can be tough, especially at home. The Ravens also have given up just two TE touchdown catches all season and Miller has just one, so there's not much of a chance for a score. There are better TE plays than Miller available this week.

PIT TE Heath Miller - Week 15, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Denver
Miller had his second 10-catch game of the season, both of which have come against the Bengals. Denver, which has allowed six of its 13 TD passes this season to go to tight ends, is 21st in the league defending that position this season. Miller could again be very active in the short passing game this week, which is good news, particularly in PPR leagues.

PIT TE Heath Miller - Week 13, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Indianapolis
Miller got off to a nice start against Seattle last week, catching five passes for 45 yards before leaving in the second quarter. Markus Wheaton benefited most by Miller leaving the game, tearing it up over the middle of the field for a 9-201-1 line. Miller will be questionable to go this week with a rib injury, which is a shame since Indianapolis has allowed five TD catches by tight ends in the past six weeks. If he plays, he's worth a look as a low-end TE starter. If not, Wheaton's value takes a jump.

PIT TE Heath Miller - Week 12, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Seattle
In the six games in which Ben Roethlisberger has played, Miller has seen 38 targets. In the four games he has not, Miller has been targeted 10 times. And Seattle has been one of the worst defenses in the league this season against tight ends, ranking 28th in fantasy points allowed to the position, including seven touchdowns. Miller could be a sneaky play this week with Roethlisberger ready to roll.
