Scouting report

PIT WR Eli Rogers - Week 2, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. Cincinnati
Playing in his first NFL game, Rogers caught six passes for 59 yards and a touchdown on seven targets, all of which came in the first half. The Steelers went run heavy in the second half and that's will also likely be the case this week against the Bengals. And Rogers' TD catch was fluky, as Sammie Coates was the intended target. He's a decent flex play in PPR leagues, but don't expect a score each week. Rogers will likely fall to being the No. 3 target this week with Markus Wheaton back.

PIT WR Eli Rogers - Week 1, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 at Washington
Keep an eye on how much Rogers is used in the slot this week. He could see more playing time than Sammie Coates and will be valuable in PPR leagues if that is the case.

PIT WR Eli Rogers - 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

2016 Fantasy Outlook
If you're looking for a sleeper, here's your guy. Ben Roethlisberger loves Rogers and offensive coordinator Todd Haley said he's the best pure slot receiver he's had since joining the Steelers. Rogers, who missed all of last season with a foot injury as a rookie, has pretty much been uncoverable in training camp and the preseason. And when Roethlisberger has been on the field, he looks Rogers' way a lot. I can see 40 to 50 catches out of the first-year receiver.
