LAC WR Dontrelle Inman - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Miami Dolphins

Dontrelle Inman finished Week 3 with one reception for 23 yards, 7% of the team targets, and 19% of the team air yards. Inman is not getting the volume needed to be a reliable fantasy asset.

Miami’s secondary is 13th worst against wide receivers, per our signature schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed metric. 4for4 rankings expert, John Paulsen, has Benjamin ranked as the Half PPR WR88 and should not be in your starting lineup.

LAC WR Dontrelle Inman - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at Detroit Lions

Dontrelle Inman finished Week 1 with one reception for five yards, 3% of the team targets, and 2% of the team air yards. However, his playing time could increase if Mike Williams is not able to play on Sunday. Williams missed several practices this week due to a knee injury and is questionable against the Lions. 4for4 rankings expert John Paulsen has Inman ranked as the Half PPR WR65. Inman is a risky dart throw in deep leagues if Williams does not suit up.

IND WR Dontrelle Inman - Week 19 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 19 at Kanas City Chiefs

Despite being five-point underdogs in Kansas City, Vegas expects a shootout between the Chiefs and the Colts. That has pushed the Colts implied team total in the divisional round up higher than 25 points. In the passing game, KC ranks just 25th in aFPA to WRs. T.Y. Hilton hasn't practiced in weeks but keeps playing. He's in a position for a big week again if he can make it through the game. If he struggles to stay on the field, Dontrelle Inman has emerged as the Colts WR2 and makes for a solid sleeper option in the divisional round.

IND WR Dontrelle Inman - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Dallas Cowboys

Indianapolis has an above average implied team total this week against a tough Dallas defense. That implied total is 25 points. However, the Cowboys rank top five in aFPA to RBs, foreshadowing a pass-heavy attack for the Colts. The Cowboys may rank top 10 in aFPA to WRs, but T.Y. Hilton is as dependable as they get in terms of targets lately, with three straight 10+ target games. Outside of Hilton though, no other Colts receiver can be relied upon for fantasy production.

IND WR Dontrelle Inman - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Jacksonville Jaguars

Remember when facing the Jaguars defense was a near death sentence for a player's fantasy prospects? That's not the case anymore. The Jags are tough against RBs (2nd in aFPA), but the Colts have an implied team total of 25.5 on the road. This should mean the Jags are a pass funnel offense this week, despite ranking 10th in aFPA to WRs, benefiting Colts pass catchers. Jacksonville's offense also operates at a faster pace when Leonard Fournette is out, which should mean additional offensive plays for the Colts too. However, Dontrelle Inman has less than seven targets and less than 50 yards in each of his last three games. He's not a viable fantasy starter in re-draft leagues.

IND WR Dontrelle Inman - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Tennesee Titans

The Colts have a high implied team total of 25 at home against Tennessee, and maybe the best offensive line in the NFL right now, helping the Colts air attack by protecting Andrew Luck better than he's ever been protected. This week against a pass funnel Titans defense that ranks second in aFPA to RBs but only 28th against WRs, T.Y. Hilton should thrive. He's back in the WR2 mix for us, against a Titans defense he torched with Andrew Luck two years ago for a couple 20-plus-point PPR games. No other Colts receivers are on the fantasy radar though, as the tight ends and running backs operate as the secondary options to Hilton in the pass game in this offense.

CHI WR Dontrelle Inman - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Cleveland Browns

Dontrelle Inman had an interesting stretch after he was brought on, but then just completely dropped in production. He's had just 3 total catches in his last three games and isn't worth looking at in fantasy.
