CLE RB Dontrell Hilliard - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at San Francisco 49ers

Dontrell Hilliard scored his second touchdown of the season in Week 4 as he finished the game with eight touches for 54 yards. He played 36% of the offensive snaps, which isn't bad. But he's still not an overly productive option for fantasy. He's unreliable after playing just one snap in Week 3. Plus with a bad matchup, it's safe to say you should avoid Hilliard.

Week 2 at New York Jets

Dontrell Hilliard vultured a touchdown away from Nick Chubb in Week 1, but that's about all he did. He finished with that lone carry, and saw just two targets as a receiver, catching one pass for 14 yards. He's not worth fantasy consideration.

Week 1 vs. Tennessee Titans

Dontrell Hilliard is listed as the immediate backup to Nick Chubb on the Browns' depth chart. AAF scrimmage yard leader D'Ernest Johnson is third behind Hilliard. It's hard seeing much of a role for Hilliard or Johnson moving forward. All signs point to Chubb being a three-down back. Hilliard will likely see a few snaps, but nothing worthy enough to warrant fantasy consideration.
