Scouting report

SEA WR DK Metcalf - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. San Francisco 49ers

DK Metcalf finally found the end zone again. His score Sunday was his first since Week 4. He's also reached 90 yards in two straight games. Metcalf is dealing with a toe injury and did not practice Tuesday so keep a close eye here. Metcalf's quarterback, Geno Smith, is also banged up. Metcalf's talent still makes him flex-worthy, but temper expectations this week with him.

SEA WR DK Metcalf - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Los Angeles Rams

DK Metcalf had one of his best games of the season last week against Washington, catching seven passes for 98 yards. Big step up from just the one catch in Week 9, but Baltimore was a buzzsaw that day. Metcalf is still scoreless since the Week 5 bye, however. The good news? He did score a touchdown in Week 1 against the Rams. Regardless, Metcalf's talent alone makes him a weekly WR2.

SEA WR DK Metcalf - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Washington Commanders

DK Metcalf was limited to a single 50-yard catch last week against the Ravens. That's it. He's now scoreless in his last three games. Week 4 was his last touchdown. Week 10 could produce another one against Washington. Just keep an eye on Friday's practice report as Metcalf did not practice Thursday, though that also was likely the Seahawks just resting him. He's a WR2/Flex if he plays this week.

SEA WR DK Metcalf - Week 9 Fantasy Football

Week 9 at Baltimore Ravens

Almost incredibly, DK Metcalf caught just five of his 14 targets last week against the Browns. Of course, the Browns have a strong secondary. Baltimore does as well, allowing the third-fewest passing yards per game while Cleveland is at No. 1 in that category. That being said, this is still DK Metcalf we’re talking about. Just his presence alone makes him fantasy-relevant. He checks in as a solid WR2 against the Ravens.

SEA WR DK Metcalf - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Cleveland Browns

DK Metcalf missed a game (surprisingly) for the first time in his career. For now, it’ll be the only one he misses. He should be back after returning to practice this week in a full capacity. Him against Browns cornerback Denzel Ward will be a matchup to watch this week. Both will have their moments. Even in the tough matchup, Metcalf should be right back in your lineups this week.

SEA WR DK Metcalf - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Arizona Cardinals

DK Metcalf continues to be hobbled a bit by his ongoing rib and hip injuries, but he still managed 69 yards on four catches (nine targets) last week against the Bengals. While his numbers in the past against the Cardinals haven't been great, the Cardinals don't exactly have the secondary they once did. Regardless, Metcalf sees plenty of attention from Geno Smith, per usual, and will continue to be a solid WR2 play just for his playmaking ability.

SEA WR DK Metcalf - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Cincinnati Bengals

DK Metcalf has taken control as the leader in the passing game overall, though he is coming off just three catches two weeks ago against the Giants. One of those catches was for a touchdown, however. He’ll continue to see plenty of targets from Geno Smith but the Bengals still sport one of the better secondaries in the NFL. Still, Metcalf is talented enough and sees enough work that he’ll continue to be a weekly WR2.
