Scouting report

SEA RB Chris Carson - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs Minnesota
Chris Carson was limited to 26 yards rushing last game, but the more troublesome number is the lack of touches as he only accumulated 12. Carson had been consistently getting around 20 in recent games. Carson is still a big part of the offense, so don't take last week's game as anything more than just a blip on the radar.

Carson will face Minnesota who is 8th in aFPA to running backs. The tough matchup gives some negative value this week as the Vikings struggle more with the pass so Seattle could lean that way.

Start Carson as an RB2 for Week 13 and hope his touches return to that 20 mark.

SEA RB Chris Carson - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Philadelphia
Chris Carson had 28 touches last week and that produced 101 yards. The Seahawks have really ridden him and as long as he stays healthy, expect it to continue. Carson has had 20+ touches in every game but three and he was close in those.

The Eagles are up next for Seattle and Philly is ranked 7th in aFPA to running backs. We expect another large workload for Carson and similar results to last week. Start him as a low-end RB1 as the yardage total will not be big even with the number of touches he should receive.

SEA RB Chris Carson - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at San Francisco
Chris Carson eclipsed the 100-yard rushing mark last week and had a total of 128 total yards from scrimmage. It was his fourth 100+ rushing game of the season. And it was good to see him involved more in the passing game with two catches.

Carson will face the Niners who are third in aFPA to running backs. The tough matchup will drop Carson in the running back rankings this week, but he is still serviceable. Start him as a solid RB2 in all leagues and formats.

SEA RB Chris Carson - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs Tampa Bay
Chris Carson now has five straight games with 20+ touches. Last week, he ended up 90 yards and his third touchdown of the season. However, it was the first game this season he did not catch a pass, something the Seahawks claimed he would be more involved in.

The Seahawks running game will have a tough matchup against Tampa Bay who is ranked No. 1 in aFPA to running backs. Carson should still see the touches, but can he put up numbers against the Bucs.

We think he will take a step back this week as he only ranks a high-end RB2 in standard and PPR leagues. Start him but don't be surprised if he has just an average game.

SEA RB Chris Carson - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Atlanta
Chris Carson's three-game streak of 100-rushing yard games ended. He got the touches, but Baltimore did a good job of limiting his production. He had 24 touches for 74 yards which was still a decent day, but not what we have been seeing in recent weeks.

Carson will play against the Falcons who are 18th in aFPA to running backs. Atlanta has been really bad against the pass so expect the Seahawks to focus on the passing in their game plan. That doesn't mean Carson won't get his touches. He should be over the 20 mark again and that ranks him as a solid RB1 in both PPR and standard leagues. Start him for Week 8.

SEA RB Chris Carson - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs Baltimore
Chris Carson recorded his third straight 100-yard rushing game this past Sunday and added four receptions. Carson is taking advantage of the good play of the Seahawks offense and his numbers have been very good overall although, with the number of touches, you would think he would have more than four touchdowns.

Carson will face the Ravens who are 21st in aFPA to running backs. We expect a big day for the Seattle offense and Carson will be around his usual 20 touches.

Start Carson in all leagues and formats as a top 5 fantasy running back for Week 7. He will continue his 100-yard rushing streak and add at least one touchdown against Baltimore.

SEA RB Chris Carson - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week6 at Cleveland
Chris Carson had a season-high 28 touches and rushed for a season-high 118 yards last Sunday. He now has 49 carries for 222 yards over the last two games. This is what the Seahawks were hoping to get from him in 2019 as he has been a workhorse.

Carson will face the Browns next who are 17th in aFPA to running backs. Cleveland has struggled at times on defense so Carson should see plenty of carries again this week especially with the results he has been producing.

Start Carson as a solid RB1 in standard leagues and a low-end RB1 in PPR leagues. He has not gotten involved in the passing game as much as Seattle would like to see.
