Chiefs RB Spencer Ware (rib) did not practice Wednesday. Ware was “bruised, swollen and in pain” early in the week per Ian Rapoport. We don’t currently expect him to play, but that could change if he returns to practice. Charcandrick West is a top 10 play if Ware sits. West averaged 25.0 touches for 137 total yards and 1.3 TD as the Chiefs’ clear RB1 from Week 7 to Week 10.

Andy Reid says the Chiefs will probably continue to rotate Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware at running back.

Fantasy Impact: 

West out-touched Ware 11 to 9, but Ware out-touched West in the red zone 3-to-1. The matchup against the Chargers is fantastic, so they are both worthy of consideration in Week 14. Just don't expect West to get the 20-plus touches he was seeing prior to his injury.

Chiefs RB Charcandrick West (hamstring, probable) took full practice reps all week and is probable for Week 13. West should return to lead back duties this week, though Spencer Ware (hamstring, probable) has played well enough to earn some touches going forward.
