Once upon a time, the Raiders were known for tight ends. They had players such as Dave Casper, Raymond Chester, and Todd Christensen. Now they have Brian Leonhardt, who is no threat to the legacy of the past greats. Heck, he is no threat to the legacy of Zach Miller. B.L. joined fellow tight end Mychal Rivera in pitching a shutout in week six. Maybe Oakland’s baseball team needs to look into signing those guys.

Brian Leonhardt had only one reception when Oakland took the field prior to their bye, but it was good for a three-yard touchdown. Despite his touchdown, nobody needs to be making “B.L.” a priority when scrutinizing the waiver wire given his lower position on the depth chart for a bad team.
