Scouting report

OAK TE Brian Leonhardt - Week 15, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 – Brian Leonhardt at Oakland Raiders
Brian Leonhardt has not caught a pass since Week 11 and has six receptions for the season. B.L. is probably not going to stop being a bad fantasy player anytime soon.

OAK TE Brian Leonhardt - Week 11, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 – Brian Leonhardt at San Diego Chargers
Brian Leonhardt caught his first pass in the month of November on Sunday. With the emergence of Mychal Rivera and B.L.’s limited scope in the Oakland offense, it might be the only pass he catches the entire month.

OAK TE Brian Leonhardt - Week 9, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 – Brian Leonhardt at Seattle Seahawks
The last time Brian Leonhardt caught a pass was in Week 7. Overall, B.L. has just four receptions for 26 yards. He would be a great player to start if someone was paying you to lose.

OAK TE Brian Leonhardt - Week 7, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 – Brian Leonhardt vs. Arizona Cardinals
Once upon a time, the Raiders were known for tight ends. They had players such as Dave Casper, Raymond Chester, and Todd Christensen. Now they have Brian Leonhardt, who is no threat to the legacy of the past greats. Heck, he is no threat to the legacy of Zach Miller. B.L. joined fellow tight end Mychal Rivera in pitching a shutout in week six. Maybe Oakland’s baseball team needs to look into signing those guys.

OAK TE Brian Leonhardt - Week 6, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 – Brian Leonhardt vs. San Diego Chargers
Brian Leonhardt had only one reception when Oakland took the field prior to their bye, but it was good for a three-yard touchdown. Despite his touchdown, nobody needs to be making “B.L.” a priority when scrutinizing the waiver wire given his lower position on the depth chart for a bad team.

OAK TE Brian Leonhardt - Week 4, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 – Brian Leonhardt vs. Miami Dolphins
For those wondering who Brian Leonhardt is, he is a backup tight end for the Raiders who played his college ball at Bemidji State in Minnesota. He has two catches for 19 yards in three games. Some of his closest friends may actually call him “B.L.” Business will be bad for your fantasy team if B.L. is anywhere near your roster.
