NO RB Alvin Kamara - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs Denver Broncos

Alvin Kamara is the last man standing from a Saints skill position perspective. He had 21 opportunities last weekend. Kamara was inefficient, though, turning those chances into just 64 yards.

As our RB7 this week, he's a must-start. Kamara should be in all lineups in all formats.

Week 6 vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Alvin Kamara is our RB3 this week. Last season, Kamara put up just 6.9 PPR Points in his last matchup against Tampa Bay after a 21+ PPR point effort at the beginning of 2023. He saw his lowest workload of the season in a loss to the Chiefs this past week. Kamara failed to crack 20 touches for the first time all year.

As one of our top three running backs, he's obviously a must-start,

Week 5 at Kansas City Chiefs

Week 4 marked the fourth week in a row where Alvin Kamara topped 100 yards from scrimmage this year. He was given 28 opportunities in a loss to the Falcons. Kamara found the end zone on the ground and added 42 yards through the air on seven receptions.

He's the RB5 and will likely be in the Top 5 conversation all season, barring injury. He's an obvious must-start in all formats.

Week 4 at Atlanta Falcons

We project Alvin Kamara to score 17.0 fantasy points in Week 4, ranking him as the RB6. He's coming off of a 29-touch effort where he gained 127 yards from scrimmage. Kamara didn't find the end zone, but he can't score four touchdowns every week.

He's locked in as an RB1 until further notice.

Week 3 vs Philadelphia Eagles

Alvin Kamara had a decent day last weekend. He managed to find the endzone four times in Week 2. Kamara had a vintage performance, cracking 100 rushing yards and tallying 65 receiving yards to boot.

He's our RB4 so he's in your lineup no matter what this weekend.

Week 1 at Dallas Cowboys

Alvin Kamara comes into the week as our RB16. In a 47-10 victory last week, he was given 20 opportunities. He turned them into 110 all-purpose yards and added a rushing score for good measure.

Kamara has, historically, been basically game-script-proof. Fall behind? Get tons of targets in a comeback attempt. Get ahead? Handle the rush load. He's a definite start this week and should continue barring injuries.

Week 1 vs Carolina Panthers

Alvin Kamara as a home favorite has always been a solid play. He might not be the same Kamara of old, but we still have him ranked as RB16 this week. In his career, as a home favorite, Kamara averages over 20 PPR points.

That might be a stretch for this weekend if he doesn't find the end zone, but this is a solid matchup in a game they should win easily. Kamara is in play in all formats.
