He finished as QB12 for the week, which was his only Top-12 finish of the season, demonstrating his limited upside in a run-heavy offense. It's clear that Mayfield is a better quarterback when Odell Beckham Jr. isn't on the field.
Mayfield goes up against a Patriots defense that ranks second in aFPA to quarterbacks, so this is a tough matchup. Add in the run-heavy offensive scheme and you have an unappealing streamer this week. Expect the Browns to try to exploit the Patriots' defense on the ground because that's where they are more vulnerable.
