Week 17 at Indianapolis Colts
Versus Chicago last week, Tyler Eifert was targeted five times but caught only two balls for 17 yards. this season he is averaging 26 yards per game but had just an eight-yard reception in the first meeting against Indianapolis. He should not be a part of your starting lineup in the finale.
Week 16 vs. Chicago Bears
In the loss at Baltimore last week, Tyler Eifert posted a season-high 51 yards on three receptions. In the last three games, he has 11 grabs for 116 yards but there has to be a better option for you to start at TE during your fantasy playoffs.
Week 15 at Baltimore Ravens
With both Mike Glennon and Garner Minshew under center and attempting over 50 passes last week versus Tennessee, Tyler Eifert saw only two targets, leading to two catches for 22 yards. The veteran just isn’t producing enough so it’s advised you look elsewhere for your starting TE.
Week 14 vs. Tennessee Titans
In the loss against the Vikings last week, Tyler Eifert led Jacksonville with a season-high six reception for 45 yards. On the year he’s averaging three grabs for 25 yards but appears to be a bigger part of the offense the past couple of games with veteran Mike Glennon under center. Eifert caught three passes for 36 yards and a score in the September loss to the Titans.
Week 13 at Minnesota Vikings
With Mike Glennon under center for Jacksonville last week, Tyler Eifert scored his second TD of the season. He finished with three grabs for 16 yards and the two-yard touchdown. While Eifert turned his 18 November targets into 11 catches he remains just a TE2 option.
Week 12 vs. Cleveland Browns
In the loss to Pittsburgh last week, Tyler Eifert snagged two passes for 32 yards and has just 19 grabs and one TD on the season. With how inconsistent the Jaguars offense has been Eifert should not even be wasting a fantasy roster spot.
Week 11 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
With Jake Luton at QB for the Jags last week at Green Bay, Tyler Eifert saw four looks, leading to two grabs for 15 yards as the team was held to under 300 yards of offense. The rookie will be under center again versus a solid Steelers defense so there is no reason for Eifert to be a part of your starting lineup.
Week 10 at Green Bay Packers
In the two-point loss to Houston last week, Tyler Eifert posted season highs of four receptions and 48 yards with rookie Jake Luton under center. In six games this season Eifert now has 15 grabs and one TD, scored back in Week 2. Eifert remains just a TE2 option.
Week 9 vs. Houston Texans
In his first season with the Jaguars, Tyler Eifert has 11 receptions for 93 yards and one TD. At Houston last month he was limited to 16 yards on three receptions and there has to be a better option for you to start at TE.
Week 7 at Los Angeles Chargers
After battling a neck injury that limited him in the loss to the Lions last week, Tyler Eifert should be on the field at Los Angeles on Sunday. However, he has recorded only 93 yards and one TD this season and should only be started if you’re out of other options.
