CIN TE Tyler Eifert - Week 11, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Arizona

Like most of the Bengals last week, Tyler Eifert had one of his worst games of the season. He dropped (three) as many balls as he caught (three). It was his second lowest yardage total of the season (26 yards) and after catching three touchdown passes the week before, did not sniff the end zone.

Let's chalk it up as a bad game for the Bengals overall and move on. Eifert will face the Cards, who are the No. 1 in aFPA to tight ends, but don't let that deter you from playing Eifert. He has been very good against good defenses so we expect a bounce back game and rank him as a top-5 fantasy tight end for Week 11.

CIN TE Tyler Eifert - Week 10, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs Houston

Tyler Eifert only had five catches last week, but three went for touchdowns, giving him 9nineon the season. He has become one of the best red zone options in the NFL and his fantasy numbers prove that point.

He will face the Texans, who are 12th in aFPA to tight ends, but he has really worked his way to the top of then tight end rankings and the red zone is the main reason why. Start him as a top-5 fantasy tight end option for Week 10.

CIN TE Tyler Eifert - Week 9, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs Browns
Even though Tyler Eifert was targeted 8 times on Sunday, he only had four catches for 39 yards. He tends to struggle when AJ Green has a big game (which he did against Pittsburgh), but did have enough opportunities to put up some decent numbers. He will face Cleveland, who is 21st in aFPA to tight ends, and is due for a big game. We have him ranked as a top-5 fantasy tight end for Week 9, so he should be started in all leagues and formats.

CIN TE Tyler Eifert - Week 8, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs Pittsburgh
Going into the bye week, Tyler Eifert had six touchdowns and has had several big games for the Bengals. There is no doubt he has elevated his game since the injury last season and is going to be an impact tight end every week. He has a great matchup this week against the Steelers, who are 28th in aFPA to tight ends. Expect a big game and start Eifert as a high-end TE1 for Week 7.

CIN TE Tyler Eifert - Week 6, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs Buffalo
We have definitely seen Tyler Eifert is capable of big games in the Bengals offense and he had one of those last week. He was targeted 12 times, and caught eight passes for 90 yards with two touchdowns. His total numbers for this season make him one of the productive tight ends in the NFL and despite a tough matchup against Buffalo, who is 6th in aFPA to tight ends, Eifert is a must-play as a solid TE1 for Week 6.

CIN TE Tyler Eifert - Week 5, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs Seattle

Tyler Eifert bounced back with decent stats after getting shut out in Week 3. He caught three passes for 69 yards, but was also held out of the end zone for the second straight game. Don't let it damper your enthusiasm for him.

What we saw in Week 1 makes him a solid fantasy option every week because we know what he is capable of. And this week, the Bengals play the Seahawks, who have one of the best defenses in the NFL. However, they haven't been great against tight ends as they're ranked only 23rd in aFPA. Start Eifert as a solid TE1 for Week 5 at home against Seattle.

CIN TE Tyler Eifert - Week 4, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs Kansas City

Yes, Tyler Eifert has tailed off a bit since his outstanding Week 1 performance. Last week, he was held without a catch, but don't take that as he is out of the Bengals game plan. Eifert will still be an important target for QB Andy Dalton.

The Bengals are at home against KC who is 19th in aFPA to tight ends. It's a decent matchup, and evidence that Eifert is going to be a legit target in the red zone places him as a starter in all leagues. He is a solid TE1 for Week 4.

CIN TE Tyler Eifert - Week 3, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Baltimore
After an impressive Week 1 performance, Tyler Eifert came back down to Earth a little bit with a good-but-not-great Week 2 (4 receptions, 49 yards and touchdown). There is little doubt Eifert is in QB Andy Dalton's sights and should be a regular top-10 tight end all season long. In fact, Eifert rates a top-5 fantasy tight end this week against the Ravens defense (which is average at best). Start him in all leagues and formats.

CIN TE Tyler Eifert - Week 2, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs Chargers

There was the breakout we never saw last season because Tyler Eifert went down in Week 1. He was targeted 12 times, had 9 catches for 104 yards and two touchdowns. Now, we don't expect every week to be like that, but there is a good chance Eifert will put up solid numbers every week.

San Diego was tough with their pass defense last week, but this game is in Cincinnati which gives a leg up to the Bengals. Start Eifert as a solid TE1 for Week 2.

CIN TE Tyler Eifert - Week 1, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs Raiders
There are expectations in 2015 for Tyler Eifert, who had his sophomore season cut short with a dislocated elbow. After an impressive training camp, many think Eifert will have a break out season. He doesn't have to share time with Jermaine Gresham anymore, but he does have to watch the Bengals run the ball on a consistent basis because that's what Cincy likes to do. When Eifert plays against Oakland on Sunday, he should be in your lineup as a low-end TE1. He will be a very consistent red zone target as the Bengals have confidence he can become QB Andy Dalton's second-favorite target behind A.J. Green.
