Rashaad Penny, the Seahawks’ first-round pick didn’t take part in the final team session, and with Chris Carson getting the day off as well and C.J. Prosise out, that left all the carries for Mike Davis, J.D. McKissic and recently-signed Gerald Holmes.
It was unclear if anything was wrong with Penny.
Coach Pete Carroll didn’t speak to the media afterward but offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer did. Asked if Penny was okay, Schottenheimer said “I think so’’ without elaborating.
The story went on to say Carson was on the sidelines and in pads and did some conditioning work. It’s unclear if there was anything wrong with him or if he was just getting a day off. Prosise was also on the sidelines but was not in pads. As noted, the Seahawks are off until Wednesday so any official word on if anything is up with Penny may not come for a few days.

C.J. Prosise is in the mix in the Seahawks' running back rotation. The third-year player is a dual-threat who can help in the run and passing game. He averaged 5.7 yards per carry in his rookie season.
Prosise has not been able to stay on the field, having played in only 11 games in two seasons. He has 64 total career touches.
2018 Bottom Line
If he makes the Seahawks roster, Prosise will not have any fantasy impact. He will most likely be the third back and is currently our No. 77 ranked RB. He isn't—and shouldn't—be drafted.
2018 Strength of Schedule - SEA
Schedule difficulty based on schedule-adjusted, positional defensive ranking. Top DEF = 1, bottom DEF = 32.
