Yahoo Week 2 Slate Breakdown with Cash and GPP Picks

Week 1 was absolutely nuts. So many overlooked players (especially wide receivers) came out of nowhere to break the slate. Our picks were still pretty strong, for what it’s worth. But we move onto Week 2 and help you set your DFS lineups over at Yahoo!

Let’s do it.

Main Slate Cash Game Strategy

Quarterback

Lamar Jackson ($31) was in this article last week but I’m going right back to the well in Week 2. After his five-touchdown performance against Miami, Jackson is still just priced as the QB12. Jackson showcased his arm talent by hitting his speedy receivers in stride last week and this week’s matchup is solid, too. Arizona is still without Patrick Peterson and Robert Alford in the secondary and just allowed Matthew Stafford to throw for over 380 yards and three touchdowns. They surrendered 13.4 yards per completion (sixth-highest) and while Jackson didn’t do anything with his legs last week, that changes here. Arizona blitzed at the fourth-highest rate in football last year (35.8%) and if they continue to blitz, Jackson can use his speed to step around it and take off.
