Week 7 Essential NFL Practice News & Notes for Friday

Raiders QB Derek Carr (ankle, knee, probable) took full practice reps again Friday and is probable for Week 7. Carr is good to go for a favorable matchup against the Cardinals.

Redskins QB Robert Griffin III (ankle, out) took limited practice reps all week and is out for Week 7. Griffin won’t be back in Week 7, but Week 8 is starting to look like a possibility.

Titans QB Jake Locker (right hand, questionable) took limited practice reps all week and is questionable for Week 7. The Tennessee beat writers seem to think that Charlie Whitehurst will get the start. Even if Locker starts, he isn’t a trustworthy play despite the nice matchup.

Cardinals QB Carson Palmer (right shoulder, probable) took full practice reps on Friday after being limited earlier in the week and is probable for Week 7. It appears that Palmer’s shoulder injury is behind him.

Cowboys QB Tony Romo (back, ankle, probable) took full practice reps again Friday and is probable for Week 7. Romo will be fine to face the Giants.

Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill (ankle, probable) took full practice reps again Friday and is probable for Week 7. Tannehill is fully expected to play against the Bears.
