NBA Player Prop Bets (March 16th, 2023)

With a smaller five-game slate tonight and props limited due to injury concerns, attacking positive matchups becomes that much more imperative. That and understanding how teams respond to rest spots are big factors in the props on today’s card.

Check out all the tools 4for4 has to aid in your daily prep. The Player Prop Tool will show projected value on listed props and you can customize the search to your liking, the Stat Explorer shows a specific stat for a player and how it compares to that night’s line and even allows you to customize the time frame you are looking at, and the Player Prop Finder shows what the line is at for all of a player’s props at all the primary books. Do not forget the Player Prop Odds Table and Player Splits Tool as well, and make sure to get involved in the Discord, where staff and subscribers talk through their favorite plays. Let’s make it a profitable Saturday.

Today’s NBA Player Prop Bets (March 16, 2023)

Josh Okogie Over 1.5 Threes (-115 at PointsBet)

Josh Okogie can be very hit-and-miss from behind the line, but when he is going hot, the attempts will continue to come, and it provides the potential for some alt-line winners.

Okogie is very matchup dependent because he does not create his own shots and mostly shoots from the corners. He has gone over in two of three games since Durant went out and averaged 5.5 attempts in those covers. The other was against the Milwaukee Bucks, who have been the best all year at preventing threes from the corners. The game recently that is most similar to tonight against the Magic was against the Kings. In that game, Okogie went three of six from deep and had 10 shot attempts.

Orlando is similar to Sacramento because the Magic are allowing the fifth-most corner threes in the last two weeks and the fourth-most attempts from deep overall. With Booker, Paul, and Ayton getting most of the attention, there is a high likelihood that Okogie will get plenty of chances, especially against a team that allows the fifth most threes to SFs.

Risk: 1.15 units on PointsBet to win 1 unit. (Playable to -122)
