NE TE Martellus Bennett - Week 11, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at San Francisco
Bennett led the Patriots in yards in Week 10 with a 7-102 line in a 31-24 loss against the Seahawks in Week 10. The bye week obviously did Bennett’s ankle a lot of good and he has shown he has as much touchdown upside as anyone. There is a lot to like with Gronkowski likely out, I just have this blockage in my head where I know his range of possibilities still includes a game where he could be used primarily as a blocker. That said, the 49ers don’t have much of a pass rush, so that could be me being paranoid. Bennett will be a high-end TE1 against the 49ers, who grade out as a below-average team in aFPA against the position.

NE TE Martellus Bennett - Week 10, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Seattle
Martellus Bennett had four receptions on five targets for 35 yards in a 41-25 win against the Bills in Week 8 before the bye. The bye week should have done Bennett a lot of good as he has been hobbled with an ankle injury the past few weeks. The Patriots look to have been favoring the two-TE set once again similarly to when they had so much success with Aaron Hernandez in the past. Bennett has shown that he has as much touchdown upside as anyone. He will be a low end TE1 against the Seahawks, who grade out as a middling team in aFPA against the position.
