BAL TE Mark Andrews - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Cincinnati Bengals

Mark Andrews is having quite a stretch. He has five touchdowns in his last six games, and has eclipsed 100 yards in each of his past two. He had 10 catches on 13 targets for 136 yards and a pair of touchdowns against the Packers last week, and seems to have just as strong – stronger even? – of a rapport with Tyler Huntley as he does with Lamar Jackson.

This week, Andrews faces a Bengals defense that ranks 27th in aFPA to opposing tight ends. With a great matchup and secure production from both possible quarterbacks under center, Andrews is a must-start in all formats.

BAL TE Mark Andrews - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Green Bay Packers

Mark Andrews had a great game last week, catching all 11 balls thrown his way for 115 yards and a touchdown. Andrews was leaned on heavily by backup quarterback Tyler Huntley after Lamar Jackson went out with an ankle injury, which is encouraging for those who roster him. It shows his ability to produce regardless of who is behind center for the Ravens.

This week, Andrews faces a Packers defense that ranks 10th in aFPA to opposing tight ends. Despite a tough matchup, Andrews is a must-start. He appears to be fine regardless of who plays quarterback and he’s one of the few tight ends who produce on a regular basis. We have him ranked inside our top five for the position this week. Don’t even consider sitting him.

BAL TE Mark Andrews - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Cleveland Browns

Mark Andrews had a down game by his standards last week against the Steelers, catching four of nine targets for 50 yards. Andrews remains a primary weapon for the Ravens, however, and is one of the few tight ends in the league to get extremely consistent targets week-to-week. He has at least five targets in every game this year, with double-digit targets in four outings. Only Travis Kelce has more targets at the tight end position than Andrews this year.

This week, Andrews faces a Browns defense that ranks 15th in aFPA to opposing tight ends. Andrews is a must-start. He gets too many targets for his position to even consider benching him. He’s ranked inside our top five this week and should be active in every format. Start him.

BAL TE Mark Andrews - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Pittsburgh Steelers

Mark Andrews had another nice game against the Browns last week, catching four balls for 65 yards and a touchdown. Andrews has been steady this season and is on pace for his first 1,000-yards season. He also is just four receptions away from his career high and has double-digit targets in four of his last seven games.

This week, Andrews faces a Steelers defense that has been excellent against the tight end position this season, ranking fifth in aFPA to the position. Still, his targets and production make him a must-start at a position with limited elite options. We have him ranked inside our top-five once again and he’s one of the rare tight ends to keep active in all lineups, every week, regardless of matchup.

BAL TE Mark Andrews - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Cleveland Browns

Mark Andrews was the only pass-catcher in Baltimore to produce last week with Tyler Huntley quarterbacking against the Bears. He finished with eight catches on 10 targets and 73 yards. It’s nice to see Andrews produce with a different quarterback behind center, as fantasy managers won’t have to watch the injury report too carefully heading into next week to make sure Lamar Jackson is back.

This week, Andrews faces a Browns defense that ranks 11th in aFPA to opposing tight ends. Andrews has had steady targets his way, making him one of the few must-start tight ends every week, regardless of matchup. Expect another heavy dose of targets, and we have him ranked inside our top-three this week.

BAL TE Mark Andrews - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Chicago Bears

After a two-game hiatus, Mark Andrews found the end zone for the fourth time this season against the Dolphins last week. He ended up with six catches on eight targets for 63 yards and a touchdown. Andrews continues to be a heavily-targeted option in the Baltimore passing attack, making him one of the steadiest options in fantasy at the barren wasteland that is the tight end position.

This week, Andrews faces a Bears defense that ranks fourth in aFPA to opposing tight ends. Despite the matchup, Andrews’ targets make him a must-start at the position and he should be active in all formats.

BAL TE Mark Andrews - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Miami Dolphins

Mark Andrews had a quiet day against the Vikings last week, catching five balls for 44 yards, but he was second on the team with 10 targets and he continues to be one of the most active tight ends in the league. He’s fifth in the league among tight ends who have run at least 100 routes in targets per route run and is on pace for his first 1,000-yard receiving season.

This week, Andrews faces a Dolphins defense that ranks 14th in aFPA to opposing tight ends. Despite a relatively quiet couple of weeks, Andrews is too good at a position with a tremendous dearth of options not to have him active every week. He’s a top-five fantasy option and managers should always start him.

BAL TE Mark Andrews - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Minnesota Vikings

After two straight games in the end zone, Mark Andrews came back to earth against the Bengals before the bye last week, catching three balls for 48 yards. He was still targeted seven times, however, and remains one of the primary focal points of the Ravens’ offense. Andrews has at least five targets in every game this year and is on pace for over 1,200 receiving yards this season.

This week, Andrews faces a Vikings defense that ranks sixth in aFPA to opposing tight ends. With his target share, he’s a must-start at a barren fantasy position, and we have him ranked as a top-five option, despite the tougher matchup. Leave him in your lineup every week.

BAL TE Mark Andrews - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

After being held scoreless in his first four games this season, Mark Andrews now has three touchdowns over his past two. He had five catches, 68 yards and a touchdown in a lopsided victory over the Chargers last week and he remains a primary target for quarterback Lamar Jackson.

This week, Andrews faces a Bengals defense that ranks 14th in aFPA to opposing tight ends. Andrews is one of the rare tight ends for whom the matchups are only slightly important. The Ravens are throwing more and throwing more effectively over the course of this season and Andrews is on a roll. We have him ranked as an elite option and he should be active in all leagues.

BAL TE Mark Andrews - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Mark Andrews finally found the end zone on Monday night against the Colts, twice in fact. He had a monster game with 11 catches, 147 yards, two touchdowns and a pair of two-point conversions as well. Andrews is averaging 7.6 targets per game this year and should continue to be a top-end TE1.

This week, keep Andrews active in a nice matchup against a Chargers defense that ranks 23rd in aFPA to opposing tight ends. They just allowed big numbers to David Njoku, and they have an offense that should keep the Ravens throwing the ball to keep up. Start him in all leagues.
