MIN TE Kyle Rudolph - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Chicago Bears

Kyle Rudolph didn't do much last week, finishing with 6 yards on 1 catch. He hasn't done a whole lot throughout the season, finishing above 50 yards just twice in 15 starts. But he's been a solid red zone threat with 8 touchdowns, which gives owners hope most weeks.

He'll get a tough matchup vs. the Bears in Week 17, although he had a solid outing against them (6-45-1) earlier in the season. The case with Rudolph all season has been the fact he's TD reliant, but he comes through most weeks. The case isn't any different in Week 17, and owners should view him as a low-end TE1 in the hopes he scores.

MIN TE Kyle Rudolph - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Green Bay Packers

Kyle Rudolph made a surprise start last week as he was at one point ruled as out with an ankle injury. He didn't play much, and even exited the game for multiple plays before briefly returning to catch a 1-yard touchdown.

Rudolph has been limited in practice this week, which means he should be good to go by Saturday. He gets a somewhat favorable matchup against the Packers, and should be viewed as a low-end TE1.

MIN TE Kyle Rudolph - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Kyle Rudolph caught another touchdown last week—his fourth in his last three games. He's done this while mostly maintaining his averages on receptions and yards. He's very touchdown reliant in standard leagues but has been pretty useful in PPR this season, with at least 4 catches in nine of his 13 games.

He'll get a decent matchup this week against the Bengals, and should continue to produce as usual. This makes him a low-end TE1 choice in Week 15.

MIN TE Kyle Rudolph - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Carolina Panthers

Kyle Rudolph caught another touchdown last week as he finished with 4 receptions for 36 yards. Rudolph hasn't been a great option this season, finishing with under 50 yards in every game but two. But he has been a low-end TE1 option in PPR formats because he's ninth in receptions at the position.

He gets a tough matchup against the Panthers this week, but we don't expect his role to change much. He'll continue to be a low-end TE1 in PPR and standard formats.

MIN TE Kyle Rudolph - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Atlanta Falcons

Kyle Rudolph exploded last week with 2 touchdowns on 4 receptions for 63 yards. It was his highest yardage total of the season, as he continues to play well for Minnesota. He hasn't been a super option at the position, but he's been pretty reliable in delivering his numbers, at least in PPR formats.

He gets a decent matchup this week against the Falcons, as Atlanta has allowed at least 50 yards to a TE in seven games this season. The Falcons have only given up two scores to TEs, though, so don't expect an end zone visit from Rudolph. He's a low-end TE1 in PPR and a TE2 in standard leagues.

MIN TE Kyle Rudolph - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Detroit Lions

Kyle Rudolph's catch-heavy season continued last week as he finished with 5 receptions for a season-high 58 yards. He now has six straight games with at least 5 catches, giving him a high-enough floor in PPR formats to continue to start. But his lack of big yards or touchdowns makes him a frustrating player in standard leagues.

He gets a decent matchup this week against the Lions, a team that has allowed some big games to the position throughout the season. It's worth noting, however, Rudolph struggled against Detroit earlier in the season, catching just 2 passes for 34 yards.

Expect a similar script for Rudolph this week, as he'll likely be a low-end TE1 play in PPR formats, while sitting just outside TE1 territory in standard leagues.

MIN TE Kyle Rudolph - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Los Angeles Rams

Kyle Rudolph continued his strong PPR season last week with another high-reception, low-yardage game. The tight end now has at least 5 receptions in each of his last five games, but it hasn't led to many yards. In fact, he's never had more than 50 yards in a game this season.

He gets a fairly tough matchup this week against the Rams, but considering Rudolph's role this season, the matchup doesn't play much of a factor. He should continue to be a low-end TE1 option in PPR formats and a touchdown-reliant option in standard leagues.

MIN TE Kyle Rudolph - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Washington

Kyle Rudolph has emerged as a solid PPR option in recent games, catching at least 5 passes in four consecutive games. But he hasn't been much of a standard option, as he's been held to under 50 yards in every game this season. He's also not much of a scoring threat, as he has just 3 touchdowns on the year.

Rudolph has low-end TE1 appeal, especially in PPR formats. He should find some success this week in a favorable matchup against a Washington defense that has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points and the most yards to opposing tight ends.

MIN TE Kyle Rudolph - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Browns (game in London)

Kyle Rudolph saw the second-most targets (7) on the team last week, finishing with 5 catches for 43 yards. He's been very involved in the offense with Stefon Diggs out.

This week, he gets a favorable matchup against the Browns, who have allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. In fact, Cleveland has allowed the most receptions (51) to the position this season. Only two other teams have allowed even 40+ receptions to TEs.

Rudolph should be viewed as a TE1 this week, especially in PPR formats.

MIN TE Kyle Rudolph - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Baltimore Ravens

Kyle Rudolph saw 9 targets last week, which placed second on the team. He turned those targets into 5 receptions for 47 yards, which is actually a season-high for him. His last two games have been his best of the season, which means he's at least trending in the right direction, but he's still coming up with low numbers.

He gets a surprisingly good matchup this week against the Ravens. Baltimore has been pretty stingy against the pass, but for some reason have allowed big games to tight ends. Rudolph should be viewed as an outside TE1 option this week.
