LA WR Kenny Britt - Week 13, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at New England
Kenny Britt caught five-of-10 passes for 52 yards and a touchdown in the Rams' Week 12 loss to the Saints. Britt is having a career year, posting a career-high in yards with 788 and catches with 54. He could become the first Ram receiver to record a 1,000-yard season since 2007. Ranked as our WR34 for the Rams' Week 13 matchup with the Patriots, view Britt as a WR3/4 for Sunday at Foxboro.

LA WR Kenny Britt - Week 12, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at New Orleans
Kenny Britt caught five-of-seven targets for 43 yards in the Rams' Week 11 loss to the Dolphins. Making his first NFL start of his career, rookie quarterback Jared Goff was asked to manage the game against Miami. He did that by not turning the ball over but he also finished with an abysmal 4.3 yards per pass attempt. This affected Britt, who was quietly having a good season with Case Keenum under center. Now that Goff is starting, what little fantasy value Britt had has vanished. Ranked as our WR40 for Week 12, take Britt out of your lineup for the Rams' matchup with the Saints on Sunday. If you need another WR, search our rankings for better options for this week.

LA WR Kenny Britt Week 11, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Miami
Kenny Britt caught 7-of-10 targets for 109 yards in the Rams' Week 10 win over the Jets. He could have had a bigger day had the Rams not gotten away from him in order to eat clock in the second half. Britt is quietly having a solid season as the Rams' No. 1 receiver and has a great matchup on Sunday versus the Dolphins, who ranks as fantasy's No. 31 defense versus receivers. The problem is that the Rams are switching from Case Keenum to Jared Goff at quarterback and there's no telling whether or not Goff will lean on Britt as much as Keenum did. Britt is currently our WR37 for Week 11, but if you need a cheap play in DFS or are looking for a sneaky start, the veteran wideout does have a great matchup.

LA WR Kenny Britt Week 10, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at New York Jets
Kenny Britt caught four-of-six targets for 49 yards and a touchdown in the Rams’ Week 9 loss to the Panthers. It was Britt’s third touchdown in three games but it was the second consecutive contest in which he failed to top 50 yards receiving. Britt plays in one of the least productive passing games in the NFL but he’s one of Case Keenum’s go-to guys and continues to be a decent FLEX option. He ranks as our WR26 for Week 10.

LA WR Kenny Britt - Week 9, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Carolina
Kenny Britt caught three-of-eight targets for 43 yards in the Rams' Week 7 loss to the Giants. It was Britt's worst game of the season, of course, right after we recommend that he be considered as a WR3. He also left the game late after coming down hard on his shoulder but he should be fine to play in Week 9 following the Rams' Week 8 bye. Britt ranks as our WR28 and has a great matchup versus a Panthers' defense that is No. 26 against fantasy receivers this season. Despite his dud performance in London against the Giants, Britt is an intriguing FLEX play in Week 9.

LA WR Kenny Britt - Week 7, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. New York Giants
Kenny Britt caught seven-of-eight targets for 136 yards and two touchdowns in the Rams Week 6 loss to the Lions and is now on pace for over 1,300 yards. His first touchdown came when he broke multiple tackles on the way to a 20-yard score in the first quarter and then added to his TD total with a nine-yard score in the fourth. He and Case Keenum have developed great chemistry, to the point where Britt needs to be owned in most fantasy leagues. He plays in a bad passing offense but continues to see a ton of targets and is the clear WR1 in L.A.

Britt ranks as our WR31 for Week 7 when the Rams travel to London to take on the Giants. If you need a streaming option, he's worth a flier as a WR3, just don't expect him to replicate the game he had a week ago.

LA WR Kenny Britt - Week 6, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Detroit
Kenny Britt turned six targets into five catches for 75 yards in the Rams Week 5 loss to the Bills. The targets were second to only Tavon Austin, who saw 10 on the day but was only able to amass 59 yards. When Case Keenum does throw deep, most of those attempts go to Britt, who is averaging 15.5 yards per reception this season. Although he’s yet to catch a touchdown pace, Britt is on pace for a respectable 1,139 yards receiving, which would be a career high.

Ranked as our WR43 for Week 6, avoid playing Britt this weekend in Detroit. That said, if you just placed Eric Decker or Sammy Watkins on IR recently, Britt isn’t a bad waiver wire option to store as depth at the receiver position.

LA WR Kenny Britt - Week 4, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Arizona
Kenny Britt caught 4-of-6 targets for 38 yards in the Rams’ Week 3 win over the Buccaneers. He’s now caught at least four passes in all three games this season, but he remains a non-factor in fantasy. Britt and the Rams travel to Arizona this Sunday to take on the Cardinals and their No. 16-ranked fantasy defense versus wide receivers. Ranked as our WR50 for Week 4, view Britt as a WR5 only.

LA WR Kenny Britt - Week 3, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Tampa Bay
Kenny Britt was targeted a team-high 10 times in the Rams’ Week 2 win over the Seahawks. The veteran receiver turned those 10 targets into six catches for 94 yards in the upset victory. The production was nice, but no Rams wide receiver is trustworthy with Case Keenum under center. Britt will continue to see single coverage on the outside with opponents stacking the box in attempts to stop Todd Gurley, but Keenum clearly can’t take advantage of those one-on-one opportunities. Ranked as our WR47 for his Week 3 matchup with the Bucs, view Britt as a WR5 only.

LA WR Kenny Britt - 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Fantasy Upside
Kenny Britt finished the season with 681 yards and three touchdowns after catching 36 passes for the Rams in 2015. The only additions the team made to its receiving corps this offseason were receiver Pharoh Cooper and tight end Tyler Higbee in the fourth-round. So if you're looking for upside with Britt, start with the fact that the Rams didn't acquire his replacement in the offseason. Britt no longer will have to compete for targets with Jared Cook, who was released and subsequently signed with the Packers in the offseason. Britt did flash some big-play ability down the stretch last season and perhaps he'll develop a good relationship with No. 1 overall pick Jared Goff, who is expected to start under center.

Fantasy Downside
Even though Britt only caught 48 passes for 748 yards and three touchdowns in 2014, his numbers actually dropped to 36-681-3 in 2015. He also saw 12 fewer targets last season and his role doesn't figure to change much this year. L.A.'s offense will once again revolve around running back Todd Gurley and finding creative ways to get Tavon Austin the ball. Britt will start, but that doesn't mean much in one of the most one-dimensional offenses in the NFL.

2016 Bottom Line
Britt hasn't been fantasy relevant since 2010 when he finished as fantasy's WR22. Even though he's been the Rams' de facto No. 1 receiver the last two years, that hasn't equated to much production. He's currently not being drafted in 12-team leagues and ranks as our WR58. It's unlikely he'll even turn into a decent streaming option this season, so avoid him on draft night.
