SEA TE Jimmy Graham - Week 12, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Tampa Bay
Only three receptions for 46 yards, but one of those was for a touchdown, which means Jimmy Graham had a decent week. The veteran tight end has been playing very well since Week 2 and has become one of the top fantasy tight ends for 2016.

This week should be another good one for Graham, as he plays Tampa Bay, who is ranked 25th in aFPA to tight ends. That fact along with his recent play has Graham the top-ranked fantasy tight end for Week 12.

SEA TE Jimmy Graham - Week 11, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs Philadelphia
Jimmy Graham had his lowest target total since Week 2, but don't let that worry you. Graham has become one of Russell Wilson's favorite receivers as he finally has returned to New Orleans form.

The matchup is a tough one for Week 11, as the Eagles are second in aFPA to tight ends in 2016. Still, we think QB Russell Wilson is finally healthy, which should produce quality stats for Graham. Start him as a solid TE1 against Philadelphia.

SEA TE Jimmy Graham - Week 9, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs Buffalo
Jimmy Graham was only targeted five times last week, which is the lowest amount since Week 2. We don't expect that to be a trend as Graham has found a comfort level with the offense and has been effective. He will face the Bills, who are 10th in aFPA to tight ends. We expect the targets to go back up and Graham to be back to his season averages. Start him as a top-5 fantasy tight end for Week 9.

SEA TE Jimmy Graham - Week 8, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at New Orleans
Jimmy Graham had a season-high 10 targets last week and has continued to be more involved in the offense. He did not practice on Wednesday, but that was a veteran rest day for Graham. He is healthy and will play against his old team.

And expect him to be ready. The Saints are struggling defensively, and you know Graham will be playing with a chip on his shoulder. Start him in all leagues and formats as one of the best fantasy tight ends for Week 8.

SEA TE Jimmy Graham - Week 7, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Arizona
Jimmy Graham has put together three outstanding games where he has averaged nine targets, 18 receptions and over 100 yards per game. The only downside is that he's had just one touchdown in that stretch. His scoring numbers should rise over time, but it is safe to say the old Jimmy Graham is back.

Arizona has been outstanding this season against tight ends (they're 3rd in aFPA to tight ends). However, Graham is hot, and we think he is now Russell Wilson's favorite target. Start Graham as a top-5 TE1 for Week 7.

SEA TE Jimmy Graham - Week 4, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at New York Jets
There is the Jimmy Graham everyone has been looking for. The big tight end caught six passes for 100 yards and a touchdown last week, and Seattle hopes he can continue to have that kind of impact in the game.

He has a good matchup against the Jets, who are 25th in aFPA to tight ends. Although Graham has a knee injury, he should be good to go Sunday. Start him as a low-end TE1 for Week 4.

SEA TE Jimmy Graham - Week 3, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs San Francisco
Jimmy Graham showed some signs of life with three receptions for 42 yards last week, but he is still a long way from where he once was. The targets are alarming, as he as only five in the first two games.

Graham used to be a fantasy stud, but now he is a bench player at best for Week 3. Keep an eye on him, but we are not convinced anything is going to change.

SEA TE Jimmy Graham - Week 2, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at Los Angles
We heard a lot of talk in the preseason about how Seattle and QB Russell Wilson were going to get Jimmy Graham more involved in the offense. It didn't happen in Week 1. Graham was targeted just once, which gave him his one reception for 11 yards. The other tight end, Luke Willson, had four targets in the game who played 78 percent of the snaps. Yes, Graham is still recovering from his injury last year, but the numbers show he is not 100 percent.

Graham's playing time and numbers should increase as he gets healthier, but for Week 2, he should stay on your bench.

SEA TE Jimmy Graham - Week 1, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs. Miami
Jimmy Graham is not even ranked in the top 25 for Week 1 against the Dolphins. The main reason is Pete Carroll's team has not used the tight end very much in the offense and that was the case when Graham played his first season with the Seahawks. We will see early if that changes, but don't gamble that it will happen in Week 1.
