Week 3 vs. Oakland
Henry got nine carries last week, three fewer than DeMarco Murray and produced 40 yards. But Murray had 89 and has been a huge part of the running game. Henry isn't worth starting at this point, but keep an eye on him.

Week 2 at Detroit
Henry had just seven touches last week, playing 21 snaps compared to 50 for DeMarco Murray. He produced just three yards on five rushing attempts, but did catch two passes for 41 yards. But without more touches, he's not worth playing at this point.

TEN RB Derrick Henry - Week 1, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs. Minnesota
The rookie will serve as the backup to spell DeMarco Murray at times. Head coach Mike Mularkey isn't going to force the issue with Henry despite his 154 yards rushing in the preseason on 27 carries. We're probably looking at 5-10 touches per game for now for Henry. That makes him little more than a flex option.

TEN RB Derrick Henry - 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

2016 Fantasy Outlook
The big rookie's outlook was great until the Titans made a deal for DeMarco Murray. Early word is that the Titans plan to use Murray as a workhorse back, which would mean that Henry is more of a true backup. We'll see if that holds up. The offensive line is suspect and backs with as much mileage on them as Murray tend to get hurt. At this point, Henry is a handcuff unless something happens to Murray in the preseason. He's been the 35th running back selected in terms of ADP. That might be a bit high unless something happens to Murray, especially given Tennessee's line issues. But he's a valuable handcuff.
