HOU WR Demaryius Thomas - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Indianapolis Colts

After snagging two TDs in Week 12, Demaryius Thomas was fairly silent versus the Browns last Sunday, finishing with three receptions for 32 yards. Houston’s aerial attack will continue to feature DeAndre Hopkins, making Thomas a risky fantasy play. D.T. was not a part of the Texans in Week 4 when the team won in overtime.

HOU WR Demaryius Thomas - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Cleveland Browns

In his third game with the Texans last Monday night, Demaryius Thomas caught not only his first TD pass with his new team, but later snagged number two. He collected four grabs for 38 yards and the two scores, his first muli-TD game since Week 15 of ’15. Thomas should remain an important part of the Houston passing attack and has a good matchup on Sunday facing the league’s second-worst overall defense. He’s a WR3/flex start.

HOU WR Demaryius Thomas - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Tennessee Titans

After collecting three receptions in his Texans debut, Demaryius Thomas saw just one target and no receptions last week against the Redskins. With the bye coming the week before, Keke Coutee’s hamstring was able to heal and he led the team with 77 receiving yards in the win at Washington. Due to a lack of activity so far on his new team, Thomas should not be in your starting lineup.

HOU WR Demaryius Thomas - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Los Angeles Chargers

In his first game as a Texan two weeks ago in Denver, Demaryius Thomas caught all three of his targets for 61 yards. He snagged two passes early against his former team and was only thrown to once more the remainder of the contest. After having an extra week to get acquainted with the offense, look for Thomas to be a bigger part of the passing attack moving forward. He makes for a WR3/flex play at Washington.

HOU WR Demaryius Thomas - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Houston Texans

In a strange coincidence, newly acquired Demaryius Thomas gets to return to Denver to face his former teammates. Thomas’ numbers have been down this season, but he has a good opportunity to be the No. 2 WR for the Texans behind DeAndre Hopkins; he’ll also see a bit of an upgrade at QB from Case Keenum to Deshaun Watson. Since he was just traded mid-week, don’t expect much from Thomas on Sunday even though he knows the opponent, but hang on to him for future weeks.

DEN WR Demaryius Thomas - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Kansas City Chiefs
After Denver built a big first-half lead over the Cardinals last Thursday, Case Keenum threw just 21 passes for 161 yards on the night. Demaryius Thomas was targeted six times, leading to five grabs for 42 yards. He continues to be a fantasy disappointment, registering more than 65 yards in a game just once this season. On Oct. 1 versus Kansas City, D.T. was limited to four grabs for 24 yards. The Chiefs defense is No. 31 versus the pass, but Thomas is still a WR3/flex play.

DEN WR Demaryius Thomas - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Arizona Cardinals
Before his late one-yard TD catch versus the Rams last Sunday, Demaryius Thomas was only targeted three times and had just two grabs for 56 yards. While it was nice to see him record his third score of the season, through the first six weeks D.T. has only 28 receptions (an average of less than five per game) and has been over the century mark once. The Cardinals are No. 12 at stopping the pass, making Thomas a WR3 play on Thursday night.

DEN WR Demaryius Thomas - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Los Angeles Rams
While the Broncos were in the process of losing for the third straight time, Demaryius Thomas posted his best numbers of the season, thanks to a garbage time 42-yard TD reception. He registered his first 100-yard game of ’18 against the Jets, finishing with 105 yards on five grabs. Even though Thomas had the better numbers, he was targeted just six times compared to 14 for Emmanuel Sanders. He’ll be going against the No. 10 pass defense in cold weather on Sunday, making him a WR3/flex option.

DEN WR Demaryius Thomas - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at New York Jets

The Chiefs defense came into last week’s game ranked last in the league at stopping the pass, but Demaryius Thomas was held to a season-low four receptions for 24 yards. He hasn’t scored in three straight and has been limited to less than 65 yards in every game this season. Things likely won’t be much better for Thomas on Sunday at the Jets, as they are allowing an average of 247 yards per game through the air. Consider Thomas a WR3/flex play.

DEN WR Demaryius Thomas - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Case Keenum threw for just 192 yards in the rain at Baltimore last week, with Demaryius Thomas only seeing five targets. No. 88 finished made the most of his looks though, snagging all five passes for a team-high 63 yards—matching his season-high in yards. Thomas is off to a bit of a slow start this season, but gets to face a Kansas City defense yielding over 360 yards per game through the air. Look for the Broncos' passing attack to have success on Monday night, making Thomas a WR2 play.
