CLE WR Corey Coleman - Week 17, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Pittsburgh
Corey Coleman hasn’t done anything of value since returning from an injury that kept him out the majority of the season. Part of his struggles may be hitting a rookie wall, but the majority is likely from the fact Robert Griffin III has been awful at quarterback.

There’s really no reason to start Coleman in fantasy, or even roster him. He’s been held under 30 yards in three straight games, and has a bad matchup this week.

CLE WR Corey Coleman - Week 16, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Corey Coleman - Week 16 vs. San Diego
Since returning from injury, Corey Coleman has averaged 30 yards per game, and has only gone over 40 yards once. He's also found the endzone just one time in that span, and has struggled to find production with Robert Griffin III at quarterback.

It's unlikely he finds his rhythm this week in a tough matchup against the Chargers. He might get more looks with Terrelle Pryor battling a serious finger injury, but Coleman is nothing more than a WR5, which places him off the fantasy radar in most leagues.

CLE WR Corey Coleman - Week 15, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Buffalo
Since returning from injury, Corey Coleman has averaged 32 yards in five games and has had three receptions in all but one (where he had four). In short, he hasn't been very good and he'll only be relevant when he scores a touchdown, which will be impossible to predict.

Coleman gets a decent matchup against Buffalo this week, but there's no way to trust him considering his lack of production. He's not worth starting in Week 15.

CLE WR Corey Coleman - Week 14, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Cincinnati
Corey Coleman continues to not produce many yards. Since his return from injury he's averaged 33 yards per game and has caught just one touchdown in that span. Making matters worse for him this week is the fact he'll go up against a tough Bengals pass defense.

Coleman is an explosive receiver, and could benefit from Robert Griffin's deep pass, but it's hard to trust him entirely this week. He should be viewed as a WR4 play.

CLE WR Corey Coleman - Week 12, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. New York Giants
Corey Coleman hasn't had a ton of success as a rookie so far. After returning from injury, he's averaged 32 yards per game on about three catches. That doesn't inspire much confidence, and neither does the fact that he gets a poor matchup this week.

He's somewhat on the fantasy radar as a WR4, but don't surprised if he has another average performance in Week 12.

CLE WR Corey Coleman - Week 11, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Pittsburgh
Corey Coleman hasn't been very exciting in his return from injury. In the last two games he's finished 3-for-41 and 3-for-17, respectively. Part of the problem stems from the Browns' confusion at the quarterback position, as they oddly used two of them last week.

Coleman is a great talent, but he'll be going against a tough Steelers matchup this week. Pittsburgh hasn't allowed many points to opposing wideouts, so we project Coleman will be a WR4 option.

CLE WR Corey Coleman - Week 10, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Baltimore
Corey Coleman returned from his fractured hand injury last week, and finished the game with three receptions for 41 yards. It wasn't a terrible outing for his first game back, but we'd like to see more from the first-round receiver.

This week, Coleman will return to face Baltimore, a defense he torched (5-104-2) in Week 2. He has a chance to revisit his success as the Ravens have been favorable against receivers all season long.

We like Coleman as a low-end WR3 or solid WR4 play in Week 10.

CLE WR Corey Coleman - Week 9, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Dallas
Corey Coleman will return this week for the first time since Week 2. The rookie's last game was a big one, going for over 100 yards and two touchdowns. While some may be skeptical about his return from a broken hand, coach Hue Jackson said Coleman is a "full go."

We like Coleman as a low-end WR3 or WR4 play this week in a decent matchup against the Cowboys. We haven't seen Coleman and Cody Kessler play together in a regular season game, so it's hard to determine just how many targets he'll see.

Friday, November 4, 2016 - 10:03am
CLE WR Corey Coleman - Week 2, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. Baltimore
We knew Corey Coleman could make big plays, and he did just that with a 58-yard reception. But on his other four targets in Week 1, Coleman had just one catch for 11 yards. Clearly the rookie is still a work in progress, and he'll be playing with a new quarterback this week.

Making matters worse, he'll be playing against the Ravens in Week 2, a defense that allowed the fewest passing yards (63) last week. Coleman has a high ceiling due to his ability to stretch the field, but it's hard to trust him as anything more than a WR3 this week.

CLE WR Corey Coleman - Week 1, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 at Philadelphia
Corey Coleman was drafted in the first round for two reasons: the Browns needed receivers, and he's really good. The rookie will get thrust into the starting lineup immediately, and will be the main target in Cleveland as Josh Gordon serves his four-game suspension.

The Browns offense will rely mostly on the run, but they will take some deep shots down the field, and Coleman is the perfect receiver for that. All he needs to do is connect on one of those passes for a touchdown to make him worth starting.

Considering it's his first game, it's difficult to determine just how he'll be used. But in a good matchup against the Eagles, we figure Coleman will put solid WR3 numbers.
