JAX RB Chris Ivory - Week 16, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Tennessee
Ivory returned last week to get 10 carries for 44 yards, completely ruining any momentum T.J. Yeldon had built, as well. They'll likely continue to split carries under new head coach Doug Marrone, as the Jaguars try to determine who to move and who to keep going forward. It makes both Ivory and Yeldon no better than flex plays.

JAX RB Chris Ivory - Week 12, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Buffalo
Ivory got 17 carries last week, which is nice, but he managed just 39 yards on the ground. He did have six receptions for 75 yards, which made it a very productive day. T.J. Yeldon is dealing with an ankle injury, which could really boost Ivory's value this week. Buffalo has a decent run defense but has given up 10 rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs this season. Ivory is a sneaky start this week as a No. 2 running back.

JAX RB Chris Ivory - Week 11, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Detroit
After having his first 100-yard game, Ivory got just nine carries for 31 yards last week and two receptions for 10 yards as the Jags fell behind early, as usual. Detroit's run defense has been good this season - in part because the Lions are so easy to throw against. And that doesn't bode well for Ivory. T.J. Yeldon is probably the better choice out of Jacksonville's backfield this week. But who really knows?

JAX RB Chris Ivory - Week 10, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Houston
Ivory got a season-best 18 carries last week and responded with 107 yards. He also had one catch but for no yards to go along with a fumble. But the usage was a good sign and perhaps we're starting to see a little bit of clarity in Jacksonville's run game. T.J. Yeldon served as more of a third-down back, getting just seven carries. The Texans are tough to throw against but have allowed eight rushing touchdowns to running backs. That makes Ivory the more valuable running back this week for Jacksonville in non-PPR leagues. But neither should probably used as anything more than a flex.

JAX RB Chris Ivory - Week 9, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Kansas City
When your team keeps falling behind early and you're not the pass-catching back, you get what Ivory had last week - four carries for six yards. Until the Jaguars figure out how to stay in games early, Ivory is going to be something of an afterthought. Sharing time with T.J. Yeldon doesn't help, but Ivory has little fantasy value other than as a flex play at this point.

JAX RB Chris Ivory - Week 8, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Jacksonville
Ivory got just seven touches last week, but turned his five carries and two receptions into 48 rushing yards and three receiving yards. Unfortunately, T.J. Yeldon got seven touches, as well, so there's no real separation between the two. And because of that timeshare, neither is a viable option this week (especially against a Tennessee defense that has been tough to run against).

JAX RB Chris Ivory - Week 7, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Oakland
Ivory had twice as many touches as TJ Yeldon last week at Chicago, gaining 31 yards on 11 carries and also catching a pair of passes. He also got into the end zone. Oakland's run defense is bad and the Raiders have allowed five RB rushing touchdowns. While one game doesn't a trend make, it's worth keeping an eye on this week. And Ivory might be the more valuable back this week, though the timeshare makes them both nothing better than flex plays.

JAX RB Chris Ivory - Week 6, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Chicago
Ivory hasn't lit the world on fire since his return and got just eight touches in the game before the bye compared to 18 for T.J. Yeldon. Ivory produced just 29 yards on those touches, but that's not unusual for a grinder such as him. What you're looking for here is touchdowns if he gets a shot as the short-yardage back. He's produced 43 yards on 20 carries in his first two games and seems to be losing ground to Yeldon. No help here.

JAX RB Chris Ivory - Week 4, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Indianapolis
Ivory made it back last week after sitting out the first two weeks, but managed just 14 yards on 12 carries. He's still dealing with ankle and knee issues that limited him in practice this week, so that's not good news. The Colts are 29th in the league in fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, but given that he's splitting time with T.J. Yeldon and his injury status, Ivory isn't worth anything more than a flex play.

JAX RB Chris Ivory - Week 1, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs. Green Bay
Ivory showed up on the injury report this week with a calf injury that could limit him. He has a lengthy history of nagging leg issues over the course of his career. He and T.J. Yeldon will split time in the backfield, even if he does play, which is likely. And Yeldon will be the more valuable overall play, particularly in PPR leagues, thanks to his pass catching ability. Ivory is a flex play if his calf checks out OK.
