Week 13 vs Falcons
Kamara's foot injury looks to be bugging him and the Saints have been limiting him more during recent weeks. He's not his usual self and the Saints have taken advantage of the luxury of having Latavius Murray as their No. 2. Kamara can always break one at any time, but the foot injury is certainly of concern. Two weeks ago against Atlanta, Kamara rushed 13 times for 45 yards and a touchdown. He's still in the RB2 range for now.
Week 12 vs Broncos
In a strange turn of events, Alvin Kamara did not see a single target at all in the passing game. He did score for the third consecutive game and now has 12 total touchdowns this season. He remains a top-five RB option this week and he should get mixed back into the passing game.
Week 11 vs Falcons
There is currently some wonder on Kamara after missing practice Thursday with a foot injury. But if he can go, he's the same old Alvin Kamara, especially with Taysom Hill starting. Kamara is likely going to be fed the ball. The only back currently ranked higher than Kamara so far this week is Dalvin Cook.
Week 10 vs 49ers
Kamara has just one game with less than five catches. He's a PPR stud and there's no reason to shy away from him. He'll continue to get eat up opportunities in the passing game.
Week 9 vs Buccaneers
Alvin Kamara continues to gobble up yards. Week 8 was Kamara's third game with at least 95 receiving yards. He has at least 100 total yards in six straight games. He's due for a touchdown, as he hasn't scored one since Week 4.
Week 8 vs Bears
No surprise Kamara had another fine day against the leaky Panthers' run defense, with 148 total yards. It'll be a little tougher against the Bears, but this is still Alvin Kamara we're talking about. He'll get his, via either the ground or in the passing game. Don't sweat him, per usual.
Week 7 vs Panthers
The Panthers might have had success last week against David Montgomery, but Alvin Kamara is no David Montgomery. Carolina is going to have their hands full this week with our No. 1 RB in half-PPR, who is rested, coming off the bye week.
Week 5 vs Chargers
The Saints did a nice job of getting both of their running backs involved on Sunday against the Lions. Kamara had 22 touches for 119 total yards and a touchdown (47/70 snaps) while Latavius Murray had 15 touches for 83 yards and two touchdowns (29/70 snaps). Kamara is still the more-used back and is far more utilized in the passing game (35 targets to Murray's six). Kamara's upside keeps him as the No. 1 RB this week.
Week 4 vs Lions
What else can you say about Alvin Kamara in Week 3? Sure he didn't run the ball much, but when you're being targeted 14 times in the passing game and catch 13 of them for 139 yards and two touchdowns, you're more than making up for it. By the way, even with carrying the football just six times against the Packers, Kamara averaged 9.67 yards per carry (6-58). Kamara is our No. 1 RB this week.
Week 3 vs Packers
Alvin Kamara has been making up for the lack of touchdowns in 2019. He already has four total scores and totaled 174 yards last week against the Raiders. Kamara has been picking up the slack for Brees. Green Bay is among the top 10 in most fantasy points allowed thus far to the running back position, so Kamara should have himself another fine day. He is our top option this week at the running back position with Christian McCaffrey out with a high ankle sprain.
