CIN WR A.J. Green - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Baltimore Ravens

A.J. Green had double-digit targets in three of the past four games which shows nothing has really changed as to who the Bengals value as an offensive playmaker. He caught 6 passes for 81 yards last week, so even with a meaningless game coming up for Cincy, he should still put up some numbers.

Green will face a Ravens defense ranked eighth in aFPA to wide receivers. Green has fluctuated between big and small production games against Baltimore in his career. We will lean towards a big game coming up on Sunday, so start Green as a No. 1 WR for Week 17.

CIN WR A.J. Green - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Detroit Lions

After double-digit targets in back-to-back weeks, A.J. Green was held to a season-low 4 targets, 2 receptions, and 30 yards receiving last week. The Bengals offense overall has been putrid the past two weeks, but we have seen that throughout the season and Green was able to produce.

The Bengals face a Lions defense ranked 19th in aFPA to wide receivers. Green's numbers should bounce back this week, warranting a top-10 WR ranking for Week 16.

CIN WR A.J. Green - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Minnesota Vikings

For the third time in four weeks, A.J. Green had double-digit targets. Problem is in that span his high in receiving yardage has only been 77 yards. He is still finding the end zone with three scores in the last four games and that's with a struggling Cincinnati offense.

The Bengals face the Vikings this week, who are ranked ninth in aFPA to wide receivers, so the matchup on the road is less than favorable. But Green continues to shine despite the obstacles and should still be in your starting lineup as a low-end WR1 for Week 15.

CIN WR A.J. Green - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Chicago Bears

A.J. Green had one of his best games against the Steelers, scoring 2 touchdown receptions (and another one called back) and seeing a season-high 17 targets. There is no doubt Green is still QB Andy Dalton's favorite target and this will continue even with the Bengals out of the playoff picture.

The Bengals face the Bears this week, who are ranked 20th in aFPA to wide receivers. One note is that Green has been under the weather, but is expected to play. With a favorable matchup and Green's consistency (4 TDs in the past four games), he is a very good play in Week 14. Start him in all leagues and formats as a top-five fantasy wide receiver.

CIN WR A.J. Green - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

A.J. Green had a 5-reception day for 66 yards last Sunday but saw his two-game touchdown streak come to an end. Green continues to be the most dangerous weapon in the Cincinnati passing game but the Bengals have to do a better job getting him the ball. He hasn't had double-digit targets since Week 5.

Pittsburgh ranks 22nd in aFPA to wide receivers and held Green in check in their first meeting earlier this season—3 for 41 yards.

One difference in this game is that CB Joe Haden will not play and that helps Green's ranking. Start him as a solid WR1 for Week 13.

CIN WR A.J. Green - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Cleveland Browns

A.J. Green scored a touchdown for the second straight game and was targeted 9 times which is his most since Week 5. He is still the most dangerous offensive player in a Bengals offense that has been lethargic in 2017. He is always capable of having a huge fantasy day.

Green faces the Browns this week, who are ranked 10th in aFPA to wide receivers. He had 5 catches for 63 yards and a touchdown in the first meeting between the two back on October 1st and he has historically been very good against Cleveland.

We expect that to be the case in Week 12. Start Green in all leagues and formats as one of the top five fantasy wide receivers this weekend.

CIN WR A.J. Green - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Denver Broncos

A.J. Green recorded his third 100+ receiving yard game of the season and added a touchdown in the loss to Tennessee. Green still remains one of the best receivers in the NFL despite the overall struggles of the offense. The consistency isn't there because of that factor.

It won't be easy in Week 11. Green faces a good pass defense in Denver, who is ranked second in aFPA to wide receivers. That will make it tough on Green this week. He only ranks as a low-end WR1 on Sunday against the Broncos.

CIN WR A.J. Green - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Tennessee Titans

A.J.Green gets an incomplete last week after being ejected from the game for fighting with Jalen Ramsey. Before that, Green had 1 reception for 6 yards. It will be a fresh slate this week for Green who continues to be one of the best fantasy wide receivers in the NFL, even though he has not put up big numbers in recent weeks.

The Titans are up next and rank 23rd in aFPA to wide receivers. This is a good matchup for Green and the Bengals passing game. We expect a huge game for Green which makes him one of the top fantasy plays in the NFL for Week 10. Start him in all leagues and formats.

CIN WR A.J. Green - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Jacksonville Jaguars

A.J. Green for the second straight game had only 3 receptions, but he did reach the end zone for the fourth time in his last five games. No need to worry at this point as he was targeted 8 times, but there is no doubt the production overall lately has been disappointing for a talent like Green.

It won't be any easier in Week 9 as the Bengals visit Jacksonville, who is ranked No. 1 in aFPA to wide receivers. Teams have game-planned to take away Green in the past but that hasn't really worked on a consistent basis.

Although we don't rank Green as a top-five fantasy receiver, he still is a solid WR1 against the Jaguars.

CIN WR A.J. Green - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Indianapolis Colts

A.J. Green put up surprisingly average numbers against the Steelers, a team he has had success against in recent years. But don't think for a second, Green won't bounce back. He still is second in the NFL in receiving yards and double digit targets are usually the norm.

The opponent is right as Indianapolis is 29th in aFPA to wide receivers. Green has had double digit targets every other game and considering he had a season-low six last week, the odds are good for Week 8. Start Green as a top 5 fantasy wide receiver against the Colts, Start him in all leagues.
