GB QB Aaron Rodgers - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Chicago Bears

After throwing for just 196 yards and two touchdowns last week, Aaron Rodgers has now topped 223 passing yards in just one of his past five games. Considering the Bears just shut down the Rams' high-powered passing attack, limiting Rodgers and company doesn't seem like such a tall task. Rodgers did have 286 yards and three touchdown passes in a fluky Week 1 performance, but that seems like eons ago. Don't expect a high-level performance from Rodgers this week. He's more of a QB2 this week.

Week 14 vs. Atlanta Falcons

Aaron Rodgers' disappointing season continued last week in a home loss to Arizona that cost Mike McCarthy his job. Rodgers threw for just 223 yards and a score in a tough matchup with Arizona's stingy pass defense. Atlanta's defense hasn't been nearly as tough a nut to crack, allowing seven games this season with three or more touchdown passes. A fresh outlook at head coach and soft defensive matchup should add up to a good game for Rodgers as a QB1.

Week 13 vs. Arizona Cardinals

Aaron Rodgers had his worst game of the season, throwing for just 198 yards and one touchdown last week at Minnesota, as Green Bay fell to 0-6 on the road this season. That was Rodgers' second game under 200 yards this season, both of which have come in the past three games. The Packers are throwing it less, leaning more on Aaron Jones. Since their bye in Week 7, Rodgers has averaged 31 passes per game as opposed to 42 before. But the Cardinals have allowed multiple TD passes in each of the past three weeks. The volume might not be great, but Rodgers should throw for a couple of touchdowns and be a mid-range QB1.

Week 12 at Minnesota Vikings

Aaron Rodgers threw for 322 yards and a pair of scores last week at Seattle but it still resulted in Green Bay's fifth loss of the season on the road. Outside of a 400-yard, three-touchdown game in a shootout loss at Detroit, last week was his best road outing of a forgettable season. The Vikings' defense on the road will be a tough nut to crack, as well. In seven previous meetings against a Mike Zimmer-coached defense, he's had one average to above-average game in his career. You might want to fade Rodgers a little this week in the tough matchup.

GB QB Aaron Rodgers - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Seattle Seahawks

Aaron Rodgers failed to top 200 yards last week -- a rarity -- throwing for 199 yards and two touchdowns as the Packers leaned on their running game to move the ball against Miami. He's got a tough matchup this week in Seattle against a defense that has given up just four touchdown passes in three home games. The Seahawks play a ball-control offense, which could limit Rodgers' throwing. But he's still a QB1, just not as high up the charts as usual in this Thursday matchup.

GB QB Aaron Rodgers - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Miami Dolphins

The big matchup against Tom Brady and the Patriots kind of fizzled, as Aaron Rodgers threw for just 259 yards and two touchdowns on the road. But better days are ahead. The Packers need this game to stay relevant and the Dolphins have allowed 16 touchdown passes and have given up 300-yard passing games to far lesser quarterbacks. The only problem is that the Dolphins also are easy to run against. That could limit Rodgers' throwing in this one. But he's a QB1 this week.

GB QB Aaron Rodgers - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at New England Patriots

Back-to-back road games on opposite coasts is not typically a good thing for NFL teams, but Aaron Rodgers is still a good start this week in a game that has the look of a shootout. Rodgers threw for 286 yards and a touchdown last week against the Rams and would have gone over the 300-yard mark if not for a late fumble that cost him a chance to rally the troops one last time. New England has allowed 300 or more passing yards in five games total and its last four games overall, including to Buffalo's popgun offense last week. Rodgers should be a strong start this week.

GB QB Aaron Rodgers - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at L.A. Rams

Coming off his bye, Aaron Rodgers has thrown for nearly 900 yards with five TD passes in his past two games. The Packers have needed that kind of production and will likely need a similar effort this week against the explosive Rams offense. The Rams have been good overall against the pass -- but that's been built against poor passing attacks. When they've faced some of the better attacks on their schedule, they've been exploited a bit. Rodgers should be able post some good numbers again this week, even with a banged up receiving corps.

GB QB Aaron Rodgers - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. San Francisco 49ers

Welcome to the pass-happy NFL of 2018 Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers joined the 2018 400-yard club by posting 442 yards and three scores last week. He did fumble twice, but now faces a 49ers defense that allows a touchdown pass every 110 yards, the worst rate in the NFL. San Francisco has given up 12 TD passes overall this season and Rodgers should find a way two add to that considerably. He's a very solid QB1 start this week.

GB QB Aaron Rodgers - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Detroit Lions

Aaron Rodgers had a season-high 298 yards and a touchdown last week but also fumbled once and was intercepted. He also rushed for a season-best 31 yards on five attempts and is now practicing fully again. Typically, that would mean Rodgers has to be in your lineup, especially for a game against the Lions. But with his top receivers all hurting or out, Rodgers is a little less attractive than some other signal callers this week. He's still a top-10 option this week, but he's not the automatic start he would typically be.
