I'm in a .5 PPR league and I need to narrow down who to start for my RB's, WR's and FLX. I have Julio Jones and CJA locked in as must starts but that leaves 3 spots open for RB, WR, and FLEX. Who should I start out of: Mike Evans, Brandin Cooks, Lesean Mccoy, or Carlos Hyde?
My initial thought was to lock in Evans, Mccoy and Hyde. I figure since Evans is a clear cut stud, with the amount of targets he gets and Winston's trust in him to fight for passes that no matter the D he'll produce. And i had a similar mentality with Hyde and Mccoy, the basis being that opportunity is directly related to production. Which is why i felt Cooks was boom or bust, because his in an offense that CAN spread the ball around but looking into it more i found a story with him working out with SD cornerback Verrett before the draft and in the offseason and i feel like hell insist on producing against a good friend and fellow competitor.
Let me know what you think and some insight if you have any, please, thanks guys!
Zach
I'm not sitting Evans, even in a really tough matchup, same with McCoy. So the question for me is between Cooks and Hyde. I don't think there's going to be a lot of defense in that New Orleans-San Diego game, so Cooks is the pick.
