WAS WR Dyami Brown - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Green Bay Packers

After a breakout game in Week 5 with over 100 yards and two touchdowns, Dyami Brown came crashing back down to reality in Week 6 with zero points. He saw just one target, but he also only played three snaps. He's been dealing with a hamstring injury this week and looks like he's trending towards not playing. Brown is best left on waivers as he'll be irrelevant when Jahan Dotson returns.

WAS WR Dyami Brown - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Chicago Bears

Dyami Brown had a unique stat line last week. He only caught two passes, but he finished with 105 yards and two touchdowns. He saw an increase in playing time with Jahan Dotson out, and given the short week, we'd expect Dotson to rest again. But even with Dotson out, Brown only played on 32% of the offensive snaps in Week 5. He's not much more than a Hail Mary play against the Bears in Week 6.

WAS WR Dyami Brown - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. New York Giants

With Curtis Samuel hurt, no other Washington receiver really stepped up to the plate. Dyami Brown was expected to be the next man up, but he had a rough rookie debut, finishing with one catch for negative two yards. He did receive four targets, which tied him with star Terry McLaurin. But he needs to put up more production before he can be trusted for fantasy purposes. He's not worth playing in Week 2 against the Giants.

WAS WR Dyami Brown - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Dyami Brown wasn't expected to get off to a fast start as a rookie, but an injury to Curtis Samuel will likely change that. With Samuel headed to IR, Brown suddenly becomes an appealing option. The third-round rookie ran a 4.44 40-yard dash, making him a speedy playmaker, somewhat similar to his own teammate in Terry McLaurin. However, this will be his first NFL game in a tough matchup against the Chargers. Brown is worth adding to lineups while Samuel is out, but he'd be a pretty risky play in Week 1.
