SEA TE Will Dissly - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at New Orleans Saints

The more-targeted tight end in Seattle continues to be Will Dissly, the tight end that was already with the Seahawks, not the one they traded for in the Russell Wilson deal. Dissly already has three touchdowns this season. But he doesn't see too many targets, shares the work with Noah Fant, and Geno Smith connects more with DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. Also, the Saints are a tough matchup against opposing tight ends, 7th-toughest in our matchup rankings this week against tight ends. Dissly is a low-end TE2 this week. But worth keeping an eye on and at least rostering.

SEA TE Will Dissly - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Detroit Lions

As is typical in Seattle, the tight ends just aren't reliable in fantasy. Yes, Dissly scored another touchdown, but his fantasy output is too dependent on touchdowns. Just too hard to trust any Seattle tight end, especially since Dissly and Fant more or less cancel each other out.

SEA TE Will Dissly - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at 49ers

Will Dissly will have an opportunity to be the lead man at the tight end position for the Seahawks in Week 4 as Gerald Everett is out after testing positive for COVID-19. Everett had five catches in Week 3, so Dissly stands to get more work as a result. But we know it's always hit and miss with Seahawks tight ends. Dissly is a low TE2 against a 49ers team that has been very solid against tight ends so far (No. 8 in our schedule-adjusted matchup rankings).

SEA TE Will Dissly - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Eagles

With Greg Olsen now done for the season, the Seahawks' tight end position is up for grabs between Will Dissly and Jacob Hollister. Dissly far outsnapped Hollister in Week 12 (43-13). But Hollister will see more time with Olsen out, so it's a toss up between the two and our rankings show that (Dissly at 23, Hollister at 24).

SEA TE Will Dissly - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Cleveland
Will Dissly has become one of QB Russell Wilson's favorite targets. He had four receptions for 81 yards which was a season-high in receiving yards. Dissly's touchdown streak was stopped at 3 games, but he has proven to be a big-time red zone target.

Dissly will face the Browns who are 27th in aFPA to tight ends. This is a great matchup for him and we expect a big day.

Start Dissly has a solid TE1 for Week 6. Start him in all leagues and formats. Dissly has become one of the best fantasy tight ends in the early season.

SEA TE Will Dissly - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs Los Angeles Rams
Will Dissly was the leading receiver on Sunday against the Cardinals, targeted a team-high eight times which produced seven receptions for 57 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown was his fourth of the season and he has become a legitimate threat in the red zone.

Dissly faces the Rams next who are 18th in aFPA to tight ends. We like the matchup and the way the Seahawks are using the tight end. This should continue throughout the season including this Thursday. Start Dissly in all leagues and formats as a solid TE1 for Week 5.

SEA TE Will Dissly - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Arizona
Will Dissly had season highs in catches and receiving yardage last week and had another touchdown giving him three in the last two games. The Seahawks have not been very good at using their tight ends in recent years but that has seemed to change with Dissly.

He has a great matchup against the Cardinals this Sunday. Arizona is dead last in aFPA to tight ends. Expect more good things to come to you if you have Dissly as your starting tight end. He rates a TE1 for Week 4 and he could be a guy who ends up being a top 10 fantasy tight end by the end of the season.
