TB WR Vincent Jackson - Week 12, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Vincent Jackson - Week 12 vs. Chicago Bears

Vincent Jackson's production is lacking due to the emergence of rookie Mike Evans. While Evans is eating up most of the yards, Jackson is left to catch the scraps. He had a season-low four targets last week and finished with three receptions for 43 yards. He also hasn't scored a touchdown in six games.

Expect Jackson to finish somewhere between the 60-80 yard receiving range. He should be viewed as a WR3 in a not-so-great matchup.

TB WR Vincent Jackson - Week 11, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Vincent Jackson - Week 11 vs. Washington

Vincent Jackson tied his season high in targets with 13 last week and converted it into eight receptions for 75 yards. These are the type of games to expect from Jackson these days. He's not piling up the 100-yard performances like he used to.

He'll get a decent matchup this week against the Washington Redskins. He should be viewed as a low-end WR2 or strong WR3 option.

TB WR Vincent Jackson - Week 10, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Vincent Jackson - Week 10 vs. Atlanta

Some of Vincent Jackson's worst games this season came when Josh McCown started at quarterback. Bad news for Jackson, McCown's back. Just because it didn't work well early in the season doesn't mean Jackson is doomed, but it certainly isn't promising.

Jackson's been up-and-down this season with good and bad performances. He has four games with 36 yards or fewer and four above 50. He's gone over 100 just once and has just two touchdowns this season.

With six teams on bye, Jackson's value is a little better this week. He also gets a strong matchup against Atlanta. He can be viewed as a low-end WR2.

TB WR Vincent Jackson - Week 9, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Vincent Jackson - Week 9 vs. Cleveland

Vincent Jackson set new season lows last week against Minnesota. He caught just one pass for 13 yards on five targets. He also had his third consecutive game without a touchdown.

The veteran wideout hasn't had a spectacular season. He's had four games (out of seven) below 40 receiving yards. He's the best option in Tampa's offense, but that's not saying much.

He gets a decent matchup this week against Cleveland. The Browns have allowed at least one touchdown to wideouts in each of their last four games. Jackson should be used as a low-end WR2 while many wideouts are on bye.

TB WR Vincent Jackson - Week 8, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Vincent Jackson - Week 8 vs. Minnesota

Vincent Jackson was limited in practice on Wednesday with a rib injury, but he did return on a limited basis on Thursday. He should be ready to play.

Before the team's bye week Jackson had an inefficient game against the Ravens. He saw a season high 13 targets, but only caught four of them for 66 yards. The encouraging part for VJax owners is he's much more involved in the offense since Mike Glennon has taken over. He's averaging over three more targets per game and has his two highest season totals in games where Glennon started. Also, both of his touchdown receptions came from Glennon.

He doesn't get a great matchup this week, but if he's able to haul in more of his targets he'll be just fine. He should be used as a WR2.

TB WR Vincent Jackson - Week 6, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Vincent Jackson - Week 6 vs. Baltimore

Vincent Jackson has missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday with a rib injury, adding on to his wrist fracture. There hasn't been much commotion about him missing Sunday's game, so he should be ready to play.

Last week Jackson finally had a breakout game for Tampa. With Mike Evans out of the lineup he was heavily targeted (12) and caught eight balls (season high) for 144 yards (season high). His 144 yards were more than his first four games combined.

Evans has a chance to return this week, but we still like Jackson. He should be a solid WR2 against Baltimore.

TB WR Vincent Jackson - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Vincent Jackson - Week 5 vs. New Orleans

As expected, Vincent Jackson saw a lot of targets (10) with Mike Glennon back at quarterback. The unfortunate part for VJax owners is he only came away with three receptions for 32 yards. He did score a touchdown in his second consecutive game, but he's still been a disappointment this season. His best game this season is 4-51, both are season highs in receptions and yards.

Jackson will hope to set new season highs in a favorable matchup this week against the Saints. New Orleans has given up the fifth most fantasy points to opposing wideouts this season.

If Jackson makes better use of his targets in a favorable matchup he could have a decent day. He'll likely see an increase in targets with Mike Evans out of the lineup as well. He should be used as a WR2.
