MIN RB Ty Chandler - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Green Bay Packers

Ty Chandler is our RB20 this week. He has to deal, again, with the return of Alexander Mattison. He carried the load admirably against the Bengals a few weeks ago but was only given eight opportunities this past week.

At RB20, he's in strong RB2 consideration for your finals this week.

MIN RB Ty Chandler - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Detroit Lions

Ty Chandler had shown flashes in limited work this year. When he finally got the keys to the castle last week, he put in an inspiring performance. Chandler rushed for 132 yards and scored a touchdown on the ground. He also added three receptions for 25 yards.

He looks like he could be a league winner, going from waiver wire add to our RB9 in Week 16. Chandler's a must start in your semi-final matchup this week.

MIN RB Ty Chandler - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Cincinnati Bengals

Ty Chandler is an RB2 with the absence of Alexander Mattison. Mattison has been officially ruled out which means that Chandler will shoulder the load in Week 15.

It's tough to get excited about Chandler in this spot when he's been so inefficient but volume is king and they haven't shown much interest in rotating Kene Nwangwu or C.J. Ham into the mix thus far. Chandler should be in your lineup but tempered expectations might be necessary.

Week 14 at Las Vegas Raiders

Ty Chandler is our RB41 this week. In deeper leagues, you might need to play him but he just simply isn't getting enough work to factor into the fantasy landscape.

Chandler only saw six opportunities last week and gained a meager 11 yards from scrimmage.

Week 12 vs. Chicago Bears

With Alexander Mattison in the lineup, Ty Chandler just won't get the opportunities necessary to make a fantasy impact. His day last week was saved by a 31-yarder. He did manage to haul in all four of his targets, adding to his bottom line but it's an even split in Minnesota at the moment, making him a low-end flex option at best.

The running game for Minnesota hasn't been much to write home about this year. We have Ty Chandler as a high-end RB3 heading into the week. With Alexander Mattison set to miss time, it should be the Chandler show this weekend.

Chandler trudged along for 3.0 yards per carry in Week 10 and failed to earn a target. He's a flex-option at best.
