Scouting report

TB QB Tom Brady - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Atlanta Falcons

Tom Brady played well last week, but not necessarily from a fantasy perspective. He had just 226 yards with one touchdown and one interception as Leonard Fournette ended up scoring almost every Bucs TD (4). Brady didn't light up the scoreboard, but he had a good performance overall so there's no need to worry about a slump. He has a chance to have a huge performance this week as he faces the Falcons. Brady lit Atlanta up earlier in the year with a five-touchdown performance and 276 pass yards. It'd be unrealistic to expect another five-touchdown game, but it wouldn't be unrealistic to expect a multiple touchdown game. With Brady's high production all season in a favorable matchup, he can be viewed as a must-start option in Week 13.

TB QB Tom Brady - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Indianapolis Colts

Tom Brady didn't have a monster outing last week, but he played well as he finished with 307 pass yards, two touchdowns and an interception. It's his fifth game (in 10 starts) with at least 300 pass yards and his ninth game with at least two touchdowns. Even without Antonio Brown for most of the year, Brady has still managed to have a very productive season. We see no reason for him to slow down this week in a solid matchup vs. the Colts. The Colts have given up 25 pass touchdowns to quarterbacks this year, which is the most in the league. Considering Brady has finished with at least two touchdowns in every game but one, he's a pretty strong bet to score 2+ TDs in this matchup. He should be viewed as a top-five option at QB in Week 12.

TB QB Tom Brady - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. New York Giants

Tom Brady had one of his worst games of the season last week, finishing with 220 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. His 220 yards were his second-lowest of the season, and it's the second game in a row he's finished with two interceptions. He at least scored twice, which is something he's done in every game but one this season. It was a weird off game considering Washington has given up the most fantasy points to QBs this season. Brady gets a fairly good matchup this week against the Giants, but he should still be viewed as a strong QB1 play. Even though he struggled last week, he's still someone with five games of 4+ touchdowns this season. Start him with confidence.

TB QB Tom Brady - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 @ Washington Football Team

Tom Brady continued his ridiculous season in his last outing with yet another four-touchdown game. Brady has thrown for four or more touchdowns in five of his eight starts this year. And he has a chance to hit that mark again this week in a favorable matchup against Washington who has allowed the most average fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. We shouldn't expect a four-touchdown performance, but it's certainly on the table given his production so far this year. Brady should be viewed as a top-five option at QB in Week 10. The only downside is Brady will be without some weapons, as Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski have been ruled out, and Chris Godwin is a game-time decision.

TB QB Tom Brady - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at New Orleans Saints

Tom Brady finished with a season-low 211 pass yards last week, but that didn't matter too much as he ended up with four touchdowns. That's now his fourth game (in seven starts) with at least four touchdowns this season. He's on pace for 51 touchdown passes this season, which place him second on the single-season list. And he's done this despite Rob Gronkowski and Antonio Brown missing several games this year. We expect Gronk to return, which will help Brady in the red zone, although he hasn't really needed much help. Brady does get a tough matchup vs. the Saints this week, who are third in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed to QBs, but Brady should still be viewed as a strong QB1 play. He's a top 10 option at the position in Week 8.

TB QB Tom Brady - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Chicago Bears

Tom Brady wasn't quite as dominant last week as he has been all season, but he still had a good game with 297 pass yards, two touchdowns and an interception. We can likely expect similar numbers this week as Brady gets a tough matchup against the Bears who are 10th in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks. Brady should still have good numbers like he did last week, but we wouldn't expect a dominating performance. He's still a strong QB1 play heading into Week 7.

TB QB Tom Brady - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Philadelphia Eagles

Tom Brady is coming off of arguably one of the best games of his career, statistically speaking. It's the first time he's ever surpassed 400+ pass yards and 5+ touchdowns in a single game. He even added a 13-yard run for good measure. Brady is playing lights out so far this season as he's on pace for the first-ever 6,000-yard season in NFL history. And despite finishing a game without a touchdown, he's still just one pass TD away from the league lead. He faces a weird Eagles defense this week that's allowed the third-fewest pass yards to opposing QBs this season, but tied for the 7th-most pass TD. Even though it's not a great matchup, Brady is still a must-start option at QB given the way he's played so far this season.
