The Carolina Panthers have been looking for options at wide receiver all camp, but now they're looking at them in a slightly different order.

Wallace Wright and Brandon LaFell worked with the starters through the team periods Monday morning, their most extensive work as a tandem.

Thus far, the Panthers have used Kenny Moore and Dwayne Jarrett with the first team - and will likely continue to later - as they try to make a decision on whom to start when Steve Smith returns from a broken arm.

New York Giants WR Steve Smith, who tweaked his groin Friday, says he is fine and day-to-day. Smith added he didn't need an MRI, and that his groin is getting stronger.

Fantasy Impact:

This is good news, as Smith cracks the top ten of our PPR rankings and is only slightly lower on our overall cheat sheets. At this point, while he'll probably miss some practice time in the days to come, there is nothing to indicate that this will hamper him long-term.
