TB WR Scott Miller - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Green Bay Packers

Scotty Miller came back from wide receiver depth obscurity to somehow lead the Bucs in targets in Week 2 with eight. He wasn't too productive, though, finishing 3-34. He also had a carry for eight yards. Miller could be relevant this week as the Bucs have injuries to their entire receiving corps, oh yeah and Mike Evans is suspended. Miller leading the Bucs in targets last week is somewhat revealing. Assuming Chris Godwin and Julio Jones are out, then the Bucs' options come down to Breshad Perriman, Russell Gage and Miller. They all offer similar upside as WR3 options in a tough matchup vs. the Packers. Miller wouldn't be a great option if Jones is active, though.

TB WR Scott Miller - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Carolina Panthers

As expected, the presence of Antonio Brown essentially ruined whatever value Scotty Miller had left. Miller played on just 38% of the snaps last week, down from 76% in Week 8. Miller is droppable in fantasy leagues.

TB WR Scott Miller - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. New Orleans Saints

Scotty Miller finished 3-35 on six targets last week, which is a decent outing. But Miller's fantasy relevance is fading with the arrival of Antonio Brown this week. The Bucs may also get Chris Godwin back from injury, at which point Miller becomes irrelevant. Even now, Miller is barely hanging on to relevance. He's not much more than a WR5 in Week 9 against the Saints.

TB WR Scott Miller - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at New York Giants

Scott Miller tied Chris Godwin for a team-high in targets last week (9) and had his most productive game of the season, finishing 6-109-1. It was a surprising performance from Miller considering he had one reception in his previous two games combined. Before that two-game stretch, Miller had put up back-to-back 80-yard games. Miller's been dealing with injuries this year, which help explain some of his down games. He'll be a strong option this week with Godwin already ruled out. Miller should be viewed as a solid WR3 in a favorable matchup against the Giants (No. 22 aFPA).

TB WR Scott Miller - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Green Bay Packers

Scott Miller played on 63% of the snaps last week, but was held to no receptions. In fact, he didn't even see a target. It's odd considering the injuries the Bucs had at receiver, and it certainly doesn't bode well for Miller's fantasy relevance moving forward, especially with Chris Godwin expected to return. Miller is a risky option that's probably worth leaving on your bench, or waivers, for Week 6.

TB WR Scott Miller - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Chicago Bears

Scott Miller has had a pretty solid season so far, topping 70 yards in three of his four games. He had his best game of the season last week, finishing 5-83-1 on a season-high seven targets. Miller will continue to be a viable fantasy option in Chris Godwin's absence, even in a tough matchup this week against the Bears (No. 6 aFPA). He's not an elite option, but he's a solid WR3 play. We're projecting around 60 yards for him against Chicago.

TB WR Scott Miller - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Denver Broncos

Scotty Miller couldn't quite fill the void of Chris Godwin in Week 2 as he finished with just 11 yards on two receptions (three targets). Mike Evans essentially hogged the production, finishing with 47% of the Bucs' total passing yards. Miller is not a strong play moving forward, especially with Godwin's return.
