Scouting report

IND WR Reggie Wayne - Week 12, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Reggie Wayne - Week 12 vs. Jacksonville

Reggie Wayne had a solid outing last week against New England. He caught 5-of-9 targets for 91 yards. He didn't score a touchdown, but he's proven that he's not going away any time soon.

He gets a decent matchup this week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. When he faced the Jags earlier in the season he finished with four receptions for 62 yards and no touchdowns.

Wayne's ceiling is limited, but he's been fairly productive in every game this season. He'll be a WR3 against the Jaguars.

IND WR Reggie Wayne - Week 11, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Reggie Wayne - Week 11 vs. New England

If Reggie Wayne plays, he's going to be featured. In each of the last five games he's played he's seen at least eight targets. Last time he caught four balls for 70 yards and a touchdown.

Wayne may not finish with an explosive performance like T.Y. Hilton, but he's been pretty reliable this season. Don't expect huge numbers from Wayne, but he should still be viewed as a WR3.

IND WR Reggie Wayne - Week 9, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Reggie Wayne - Week 9 vs. New York Giants

According to Mike Chappell on Twitter, Reggie Wayne was able to practice on Thursday, but opted not to so he could rest. Head coach Chuck Pagano won't rule him out.

Wayne sat out last week's performance and rookie Donte Moncrief benefited the most. If Wayne sits, Moncrief is the guy to start. If Wayne is active, he may have limited play. It's not worth waiting until Monday night to figure out.

IND WR Reggie Wayne - Week 8, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Reggie Wayne - Week 8 vs. Pittsburgh

Reggie Wayne missed practice on both Wednesday and Thursday with an injured elbow. His status for Sunday's game is in question, but head coach Chuck Pagano has downplayed the significance of the injury.

Even if he does play, he may not be a huge factor. He wasn't last week against Cincinnati as he had a season low 15 yards. As T.Y. Hilton emerges as the top receiving threat in Indy, Wayne's stats are declining.

He still holds some value and could be used as a WR4 if he plays.

IND WR Reggie Wayne - Week 7, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Reggie Wayne - Week 7 vs. Cincinnati

Reggie Wayne had a down performance in Week 6 (4-35) because his teammate T.Y. Hilton did most of the damage (9-223-1). Wayne is still having a strong season. He's on pace for 90 receptions and 1,100 yards. He's a strong option in a high-powered Colts offense.

He's a tad inconsistent, which makes him harder to trust. He'll get a difficult matchup this week against Cincinnati and should be used as a WR3.

IND WR Reggie Wayne - Week 6, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Reggie Wayne - Week 6 vs. Houston

Reggie Wayne recorded his third game of at least seven receptions last week. He also currently leads the explosive Colts offense in receiving yards. The veteran wideout is still making a huge impact.

This week he faces a Texans defense that has been favorable towards wideouts. He's also had a lot of success against Houston over his long career. He should be used as a low WR2 or high WR3 option.

IND WR Reggie Wayne - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Reggie Wayne - Week 5 vs. Baltimore

Reggie Wayne looked fantastic in Week 4 as he caught seven passes for 119 yards and a touchdown. He currently leads the Colts in receptions (23) and yards (307). The veteran wideout should continue to have success, especially with red-hot Andrew Luck throwing him the football.

Wayne gets a favorable matchup this week against Baltimore. The Ravens have allowed 489 yards on 31 catches to receivers in the last two weeks. He should continue his high level of production and should be used as a WR3.
