SF WR Quinton Patton - Week 2, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at Carolina
Patton had five catches for 60 yards, but saw just five targets. That's not promising. He also fumbled once, as well. Jeremy Kerley saw 11 targets despite being with the team for about five minutes, so that's not great news for Patton. Perhaps things will change depending on matchups, but it certainly doesn't bode well. It will be difficult for the 49ers to gain a lot of traction in a mediocre passing game at Carolina.

Week 1 vs. Los Angeles
Patton will start opposite Torrey Smith but he'll likely be the third or fourth option in the passing game. The Rams pass defense was very solid last season, thanks in part to a ferocious pass rush. That could mean more quick passes, which would benefit Patton. But we're not banking on that. Patton should be on your bench this week.
