Scouting report

SEA WR Paul Richardson - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Paul Richardson had the best afternoon of any Seattle wide receiver last week with 4 receptions for 70 yards. This has happened throughout the season where Richardson or Tyler Lockett have become the primary target, but not on a regular basis.

Richardson will face the Eagles this week, who are ranked 29th in aFPA to wide receivers. He is ranked as a low-end WR3 or FLEX option for Week 13 because of a favorable matchup. Starting him is an option.

SEA WR Paul Richardson - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at San Francisco 49ers

Paul Richardson was the most-targeted Seattle wide receiver in Week 11, which produced 5 receptions for 56 yards. It was his most productive game in several weeks, although he still has not scored a touchdown since Week 8.

It won't be an easy matchup against San Francisco, who is ranked 11th in aFPA to wide receivers. Richardson is always capable of having a big game, but he probably should stay on your bench for Week 12.

SEA WR Paul Richardson - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Atlanta Falcons

Paul Richardson has only been targeted 5 times the last two games. Despite those low numbers, we know he is capable of having a big game any week, especially with the Seahawks' passing game functioning so well.

It's a tough matchup against Atlanta this week, who is ranked ninth in aFPA to wide receivers. That is probably enough to keep Richardson on your bench for Week 11.

SEA WR Paul Richardson - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Arizona Cardinals

After a 100+ receiving day a couple weeks ago, Paul Richardson was quiet last week with 3 targets and 3 catches. Richardson and Tyler Lockett kind of alternate the No. 2 WR role in the Seahawks' offense, hurting both their fantasy stocks. Richardson is also listed as questionable this week with a groin injury.

He has a great matchup this week against the Cardinals who are ranked 29th in aFPA to wide receivers. He should play and he ranks as a low-end WR3 or flex play for Week 10.

SEA WR Paul Richardson - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Washington

Last week was Paul Richardson's first 100-yard receiving game and his first multi-touchdown game of his career. The Seattle passing game was full throttle so it was a good day for pretty much everyone.

Even with a tough matchup against Washington, Richardson has raised his stock with 3 touchdowns the last two weeks and the Seahawks getting back to their throwing ways. Start Richardson as a solid WR3 or flex play for Week 9.

SEA WR Paul Richardson - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Houston Texans

Paul Richardson seems to be the touchdown guy for the Seahawks. He only has 16 catches, but 3 have gone for touchdowns. The rest of the numbers haven't been great including the targets, which he only had 2 last week. But again, one turned into a touchdown.

The Texans pass defense has been slightly below average this season, but that's not enough to get Richardson into your starting lineup. Keep him on the bench for Week 8.

SEA WR Paul Richardson - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Los Angeles Rams

Many thought Paul Richardson would be more relevant in 2017 and there is still a chance that could happen. He had 65 yards receiving last week and is in the mix with Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett. QB Russell Wilson seems to be spreading the ball around more and that is good news for Richardson owners.

If you don't own him, he could be a good player to pickup for depth as he is very capable of big plays, but we still don't have him rated high enough to warrant a start for Week 5 against LA. If you do have him, keep him on the bench.
