DEN TE Noah Fant - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs Football Team

With the current landscape for tight ends, unless you have a Waller, Kelce, or Andrews right now, you should be chasing Noah Fant's elite usage even if he hasn't turned in the stat lines that we'd expect from those usages. Over the past four weeks, with Alert Okwuegbunam out, he's had snap shares of 93%, 97%, 89%, and 90%. This week he takes on the Football Team defense which according to Football Outsiders has allowed the eighth-most targets to tight ends at 8.3 targets a game.

DEN TE Noah Fant - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Browns

Noah Fant is a top-three option at tight end this week with his insane usage in the previous weeks without Albert Okwuegbunam in the lineup. Fant has run a route on 87% of the Broncos' pass plays and saw a season-high 11 targets last week. With it looking like Albert O is out again this week, fire up Fant as a strong TE option, even if the Browns are strong versus the tight end position in giving up yards, they seem to be soft giving up touchdowns to tight ends. That's really all we're chasing with the tight ends, is a touchdown.

DEN TE Noah Fant - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs Raiders

Noah Fant is on the verge of an explosion game, and it might very well be this game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Last week with Albert Okwuegbunam sidelined with a hamstring issue, Fant ran a route on 91% of the Denver Broncos pass plays. If Albert O is out again this week, Fant could have a huge game. Especially since the Raiders rank as a bottom three team (28th) in terms of adjusted fantasy points allowed to tight ends.

DEN TE Noah Fant - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Steelers

The lone bright spot on the Denver Broncos pass offense is Noah Fant. Averaging about seven targets a game and a 12.3% target per snap, he's fully taking on his role as the number one tight end and making good use of it. Last week he earned 10 targets to lead the team, and this week he'll be needed again if the Broncos are to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers.

DEN TE Noah Fant - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs Ravens

Noah Fant is looking to bounce back from a performance that we didn't see from Fant the first two weeks. After turning in back-to-back performances of seeing at least five targets, Fant only earned three targets and gained 15 yards, both underwhelming to what we expect from Fant. This week, things won't be getting any easier, as the Ravens currently have a top ten defense when it comes to points allowed to the tight end position. The Ravens are currently only giving up 7.6 half PPR points to tight ends.

DEN TE Noah Fant - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Jets

Noah Fant is blooming into a star in front of our eyes and to add icing to the cake, he takes on a New York Jets team that was ranked 32nd in points allowed to tight ends according to our adjusted fantasy points allowed (aFPA) in 2020. He currently has the fourth most targets of all tight ends in the NFL and for the second straight week, he has finished second on the team in total targets. Fire him up this week.

DEN TE Noah Fant - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. Jaguars

Noah Fant came out Week 1 and only solidified his strong camp by posting a 26% target share (elite number), he was second on the team in receiving yards, and second in AirYards. Now that Jerry Jeudy is out, look for Teddy Bridgewater to lean even more on Fant this week. This week he gets to face a Jacksonville Jaguars team that is currently ranked #30 in our adjusted fantasy points tool. (aFPA)
