Matt Forte

Jets RB Matt Forte (knee, questionable) took limited practice reps again Friday and is questionable for Week 15. Forte was feeling “cracking and popping” in his knee. He told beat writer Rich Cimini that an MRI revealed a torn meniscus and suspects that he’s been playing with it for a while. We’re planning on Bilal Powell carrying the load in Week 15. Powell is a quality player and is worth a maximum waiver wire bid for owners in need of a running back. HC Todd Bowles said that Forte will be a game-time decision for Saturday’s game, but we’re not holding our breath. Even if he does play, Cimini expects Powell to get “most of the work.”
